App

The Nothing X app offers in-app pairing, EQ customization, and a comprehensive user guide.

Replacing Ear Tips

Select ear tips of the appropriate size for optimal comfort and sound quality. Different sizes are included in the earbud accessories.

Operations

Music/Standby

Play/Pause: Press the force sensor.
Skip Forward: Double-press the force sensor.
Skip Back: Triple-press the force sensor.
Noise Cancellation/Transparency Mode: Press and hold the force sensor to switch between Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode.

Call Management

Answer/End Call: Press the force sensor.
Reject Call: Double-press the force sensor.

Additional functions like play/pause, skip back, skip forward, noise cancellation mode switching, volume control, and voice assistant activation are available in the Nothing X app.

Wearing Detection

When wearing the earbuds during music playback, removing them will automatically pause the music. If you reinsert the earbuds within 3 minutes, playback will resume automatically. If more than 3 minutes pass, you will need to manually resume playback on your device.

Charging

Earbuds

Place the earbuds in the charging case and close the case to charge them.

Charging Case

Close the case and connect it to a power supply using the provided power cable to charge the case.

Power Level Indication

Green light: The battery level is higher than 30%.
Red light: The battery level is lower than 30%.

When the earbuds are in the case, the indicator displays the battery level of the earbuds, not the case.
When both earbuds are removed from the case, the indicator displays the battery level of the case.
For Nothing Phone users, you can add a widget to your desktop or check the device's power status in the quick settings of the notification drop-down bar.

Connectivity

Using with Android Devices (Fast Pairing)

New Device Connection: With the earbuds inside the charging case, open the Ear (2) case and hold it near your Android device for on-screen setup.

Connecting to Other Devices

With the Ear (2) earbuds in the open case, press the setup button until the light blinks. Then, select them from your device's Bluetooth settings.
