Mercury VesselView 702 Quick Guide

Display Controls
The VesselView 702 features several control elements:
- 1 Touch Screen: Direct interaction with the display.
- 2 Home Key: Press once for the Home page. Short presses cycle through favorite buttons. Press and hold to display all favorite buttons as an overlay.
- 3 Rotary Knob: Rotate to scroll through menu items and press to confirm selections. Rotate to adjust values and zoom panels.
- 4 X Key: Press to exit a dialog, return to the previous menu level, or remove the cursor.
- 5 STBY / AUTO Key: Not applicable to Mercury autopilot systems.
- 6 Power Key: Press to display the System control dialog. Short presses cycle backlight brightness.
- 7 Card Reader Door: For accessing the card reader.
Home Page
The Home page provides access to various functions:
- 1 Tools: Access to tools.
- 2 Applications: Access to applications.
- 3 Close button: Returns to the last screen.
- 4 Favorites: Access to favorite configurations.
- 5 Man Over Board (MOB) button: For activating Man Over Board function.
System Control Dialog
Gain quick access to system settings by pressing the POWER key or swiping from the top of the screen. The content of this dialog depends on connected equipment.
Activate by:
- Pressing the POWER key
- Swiping from the top of the screen
The dialog includes options for:
- Touch lock
- System Controls
- Settings
- Standby Brightness
- Instrument Simulator
- Adjust splits
Favorites
Use favorites to create custom panel configurations with engine data. Enter edit mode by tapping the Edit icon or pressing and holding a favorite button.
Edit a favorite page:
- Tap the Edit icon.
- Press and hold a favorite button.
- Select edit options.
Options include:
- Add favorite page
- Edit favorite page
- Delete favorite page
Follow on-screen instructions to build custom screens.
Adjust Split Page Panel Size
- Open the System Control Dialog and tap the adjust splits to show the resize icon.
- Drag the resize icon to set the preferred panel size.
- Save the changes by tapping the screen.
Engine Page
The Engine page offers touch zones that provide access to detailed vessel information.
Key displays include:
- 1. Engine: Displays engine status, RPM, coolant temperature, coolant pressure, oil pressure, fuel flow, and boost pressure.
- 2. Speed: Shows current speed.
- 3. Battery: Displays battery voltage.
- 4. Trim: Indicates the trim position.
- 5. Fuel: Shows fuel levels and fuel flow. Pressing the center of these screens provides deeper information.
Control Bar: Mercury
Allows viewing engine data at a glance without having the engine page open. Displays:
- Engine RPM
- Coolant Temperature
- Coolant Pressure
- Oil Pressure
- Fuel Level (Total, Tank 1, Tank 2)
- Fuel Flow (Current, Average, Peak)
- Speed (MPH)
- Trim & Tabs
Control Bar: Vessel Control
Allows access to Mercury engine control features. Features may vary based on engine type.
Includes:
- Cruise Control
- Troll Control
- Smart Tow
- Eco Mode
- My Profiles (Profile 1, Profile 2)
Users can adjust RPM values, speed values, and enable/disable features.
