Choice of Two Super-Tough Materials
1. Durable Mehler Haku® PVC Fabric
A heavy-duty, long-life fabric offering excellent resistance to UV, cuts, abrasions, high temperatures, moisture, and dirt. Features 3-year warranty on fabric and thermowelded seams (1-year on Dinghy Series). Mercury uses a proprietary THERMOWELDING technique for superior seam strength.
2. Super-Tough Achilles® HP Fabric
A premium, extra heavy-duty synthetic rubber fabric with a Neoprene inner layer. Offers superior performance in extreme conditions, including resistance to abrasions, hydrocarbons, fire, UV light, and fading. Known for its resilience, lightness, toughness, and buoyancy. Achilles® HP sets a global standard for inflatables.
Warranty: 3 years on Mehler Haku® PVC (1 year on Dinghy models); 5 years on Achilles® HP. Refer to Mercury Marine warranty information for details.
Floors to Suit All Models
- Air Floor: Comfortable, easy to inflate air mattress flooring (Dinghy series).
- Air Deck Floor (X-Stitched): Offers 50% more rigidity than traditional drop-stitched floors, with anti-slip patches.
- Sport Floor - Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP): Removable fibreglass sectional floor, durable, adds buoyancy, waterproof.
- Aluminium Floorboard: Reinforced aluminum for strength and durability, non-slip surface (Heavy Duty models).
- Rigid Hull Floor - Fibreglass: Stable, firm deck integrated into fibreglass hulls (Ocean Runner, Dynamic RIBs). Dynamic RIBs use VITECH® for strength-to-weight ratio.
- Rigid Hull Floor - Aluminium: Painted Aluminium checker-plate flooring for strength and slip resistance (Aluminium RIBs).
