Introduction
Congratulations on purchasing your new Vector Professional Digital Power Station. Read this Instruction Manual and follow the instructions carefully before using this unit.
Overview: Common Actions and Unit Responses
Pressing the LED Area Light Power Button: A beep sounds, the area light turns on, and the backlight turns on for 10 seconds. The LCD screen displays Battery Status and Voltage Indicator. The LED Area Light remains on until switched off.
Pressing the Battery Status Button: A beep sounds, and the backlit LCD screen displays the Battery Status and Voltage Indicator for 10 seconds before the unit automatically turns off.
Pressing the AC/USB Power Button: A beep sounds, the backlit LCD screen displays the Battery Status Icon and USB Icon, and the Digital Display shows "AC", indicating the AC Outlet and USB charging port are ready. The unit remains on until the AC/USB Power Button is pressed again.
Pressing the Compressor Power Button: A beep sounds, the backlit LCD screen displays Battery Status and Compressor Icon. It alternately shows the flashing pre-set PSI value and the current pressure of the item being inflated. If no further actions are taken after 1 minute, the unit displays Battery Status and Voltage Indicator for 10 seconds before automatically turning off.
When clamps are properly connected to a battery: A beep sounds, and the backlit LCD screen displays Battery Status Icon, Battery Voltage Indicator, Clamp Icons, and "+" and "-" signs, along with a flashing Jump Starter Icon. The unit remains on until clamps are disconnected.
If Jump Starter Power Switch is turned on and clamps are not connected to a battery: A two-second warning sounds every 10 seconds. The LCD screen displays Battery Status Icon, Battery Voltage Indicator, Clamp Icons, "+" and "-" signs. The Alarm Icon and Jump Starter Icon flash. The unit remains on until the switch is turned off.
If clamp connections to the battery terminals are reversed: The backlit LCD screen displays Battery Status Icon, Battery Voltage Indicator, and Clamp Icons. The Alarm Icon, "+" and "-" signs, and Reverse Polarity Icons flash, and the unit sounds a continuous alarm until clamps are disconnected.
When the unit is charging/recharging via the built-in 120 Volt AC Charger: The backlight turns on for 10 seconds. The LCD screen continuously displays the Battery Status Icon and Battery Voltage Indicator. Battery icon bars change from empty to solid repeatedly.
Note: The unit automatically powers off once all functions are turned off.
Viewing Battery Status
Press the Battery Status Button to check the charge level. The Battery Icon indicates:
- Full capacity: Four solid bars.
- Partially charged: Two or three solid bars.
- Nearly empty: One solid bar (unit should be charged).
- Completely empty: Four blank bars (unit MUST be charged; low voltage protection will activate. The empty Battery Status Icon will flash before automatic shutdown. Unit will not operate until recharged).
Charging/Recharging
Lead-acid batteries require routine maintenance. Batteries lose energy over time; periodic charging is needed. Recharge at least every 30 days and after each use if not in frequent use.
IMPORTANT: If the unit's battery charge level is too low, it will automatically shut down. Recharge with all other functions turned off.
Notes: Unit is delivered partially charged; fully charge for 40 hours before first use. Frequent heavy discharges or overcharging reduce battery life. Ensure all other functions are off during recharging.
CAUTION: Failure to keep the battery charged will cause permanent damage and result in poor jump starting performance.
IMPORTANT: If the battery icon shows full charge when discharged, it may indicate high internal battery impedance. Leave unit charging for 40 hours.
Charging/Recharging Using the Built-In 120 Volt AC Charger
- Lift the protective cover of the built-in 120V AC charger. Connect an extension cord to the unit and plug into a standard 120V AC wall outlet. The LCD screen will be backlit.
- The battery icon bars represent capacity and change from empty to solid repeatedly to indicate charging.
- Charge for approximately 40 hours or until the battery icon shows 4 solid bars.
- When charging is complete, unplug the AC extension cord from the outlet and then from the unit.
Jump Starter
The unit has a Jump Starter Power Switch that allows energy flow only when proper connections are made to the battery and frame.
Connection Procedure:
- For negative-grounded systems (most common): Connect the positive (+) red clamp to the positive ungrounded battery post. Connect the negative (-) black clamp to the vehicle chassis or engine block away from the battery (e.g., a heavy gauge metal part of the frame or engine block). Do not connect to carburetor, fuel lines, or sheet-metal body parts.
- For positive-grounded systems: Connect the negative (-) black clamp to the negative ungrounded battery post. Connect the positive (+) red clamp to the vehicle chassis or engine block away from the battery.
IMPORTANT: Ensure the Compressor Power Button is OFF before using the Jump Starter.
WARNING: Follow all safety instructions. Never touch red and black clamps together. Incorrect polarity will sound a continuous alarm and flash indicators on the LCD screen.
CAUTION: Permanent damage occurs if the Jump Starter Power Switch is turned on with reverse polarity connections. Disconnect and reconnect with correct polarity.
Procedure:
- Turn off vehicle ignition and accessories. Place vehicle in park and set the emergency brake.
- Ensure the Jump Starter Power Switch is OFF.
- Remove jumper clamps from tabs. Connect the red clamp first, then the black clamp.
- For negative-grounded systems: Connect red clamp to positive (+) battery terminal. Connect black clamp to chassis or a solid, non-moving metal part away from the battery.
- For positive-grounded systems: Connect black clamp to negative (-) battery terminal. Connect red clamp to chassis or a solid, non-moving metal part away from the battery.
- When clamps are connected properly, the LCD screen indicates readiness (Battery Status Icon, Voltage Indicator, Clamp Icons, "+" and "-" signs light solid; Jump Starter Icon flashes).
- Turn the Jump Starter Power Switch ON. Turn on ignition and crank engine in 5-6 second bursts until it starts. LCD screen indicates jump-starting (Jump Starter Icon flashes; lights solid when vehicle starts).
- Turn the Jump Starter Power Switch OFF.
- Disconnect the negative (-) clamp first, then the positive (+) clamp.
IMPORTANT: Always turn the unit OFF when not in use. Recharge fully after each use.
CAUTION: Vehicles with computerized systems may be damaged by jump-starting. Consult vehicle manual. Excessive cranking can damage starter motor. If the engine fails to start, discontinue and seek professional diagnosis.
LED Area Light
The built-in 3-LED area light is controlled by the area light power button. Press once to turn ON, press again to turn OFF. A beep sounds when turned ON. The LCD screen turns on for 10 seconds, then displays Battery Status and Voltage Indicator.
Periodically check battery status. Recharge when the battery level is low (one solid bar or empty bars). The empty Battery Status Icon flashes before automatic shutdown.
Ensure the area light and unit are OFF when recharging or storing.
120 Volt AC Portable Power Supply
Rated Versus Actual Current Draw: Ensure the power consumption of the item to be operated is below 500 watts. For items rated in amps, multiply by 120V AC to determine wattage.
Resistive vs. Inductive Loads: Unit runs resistive loads easily. It cannot run large resistive loads (stoves, heaters). Inductive loads (TVs, stereos) require more current than resistive loads of the same wattage.
Rechargeable Devices: Some devices plugged directly into AC may damage the inverter. Monitor temperature for the first 10 minutes. If excessive heat is produced, do not use with this inverter. Most battery-operated equipment uses separate chargers/transformers that are compatible.
Power Inverter Output Waveform: Modified sine wave, suitable for most AC loads.
Protective Features: The inverter monitors for low battery voltage, high battery voltage, thermal shutdown, and overload/short circuit. It will automatically shut down in these conditions.
IMPORTANT NOTES: AC Power Outlets provide a total draw of 500W. Unit monitors for thermal fault, low/high battery voltage, overload, and short circuit.
- Low Battery Voltage Fault: AC Outlets and USB port shut down. LCD displays voltage, EMPTY Battery Status Icon, and Fault Icon flashing.
- High Battery Voltage Fault: AC Outlets and USB port shut down. LCD displays FULL Battery Status Icon, "AC", USB icon, and Fault Icon flashing.
- Thermal, Overload, or Short Circuit Fault: AC Outlets and USB port shut down. LCD displays Battery Status Icon solid, "AC", USB icon, and Fault Icon flashing.
To resolve faults: Disconnect appliance, turn off AC/USB power, check if unit needs recharging, allow to cool, ensure appliance rating is 500W or less and cord/plug are undamaged, ensure adequate ventilation.
Using the 120 Volt AC Outlets
- Press the AC/USB Power Button to turn on the 120V AC Power Outlets. A beep sounds, and the LCD screen displays "AC" and USB icon.
- Insert the 120V AC plug of the appliance into the outlets.
- Switch on the appliance.
- Note: Do not exceed 500 watts continuous.
- Press the AC/USB Power Button again to turn off the outlets.
Periodically check battery status. Recharge when low.
IMPORTANT: Ensure AC Power Outlets are OFF when recharging or storing.
12 Volt DC Portable Power Supply
Located under a protective cover. For use with 12V DC accessories rated up to 5 amps.
- Lift the cover of the 12V DC outlet.
- Insert the 12V DC plug of the appliance. DO NOT EXCEED A 5 AMP LOAD.
- Switch on the appliance.
- Periodically check battery status by pressing the Battery Status Button.
USB Charging Port
Located under the same cover as the 12V DC outlet.
- Press the AC/USB Power Button to turn on the USB port. A beep sounds, and the LCD screen continuously displays the "5V USB" icon.
- Plug the USB-powered device into the port.
The USB port remains on until the AC/USB Power Button is pressed again. Ensure the USB port is OFF when recharging or storing.
IMPORTANT NOTES: Unit monitors for USB fault conditions: low battery voltage, overload, and short circuit. Faults result in shutdown of USB port and AC Outlets. LCD displays relevant fault information.
To resolve USB faults: Disconnect USB device, turn off AC/USB power, allow unit to cool, check device draw (max 2.1A), or have device checked.
Note: USB port does not support data communication; only provides 5V DC/2.1A power.
Portable Compressor
Built-in 12V DC compressor for tires and inflatables. Includes Sure Fit® nozzle and adapter. Compressor hose is stored in the compartment.
Check battery status before use. Recharge if low.
The compressor can inflate up to 120 PSI. It can operate for approximately 10 minutes continuously before needing to cool down. For longer use, turn off every 10 minutes and allow a 30-minute cooling period.
IMPORTANT: Ensure the Jump Starter Power Button is OFF before using the Compressor.
WARNING: Follow specific compressor safety instructions.
CAUTION: Compressor may operate normally for several minutes, then slow down to prevent overheating. Do not operate continuously for longer than 10 minutes.
Inflating Tires or Products With Valve Stems
- Screw the Sure Fit® nozzle onto the valve stem.
- Press the Compressor Power Button. LCD displays pre-set PSI and current pressure.
- Use "+" and "-" buttons to set desired pressure (3-120 PSI).
- Press the Compressor Power Button again to start inflating. The Compressor Icon flashes, and the digital display shows current pressure.
- IMPORTANT NOTE: Press Compressor Power Button again to interrupt inflation.
- Compressor stops automatically when desired pressure is reached.
- Press the Compressor Power Button again to turn off the unit.
- Unscrew and remove the Sure Fit® nozzle.
- Allow unit to cool, then recharge before storing.
- Store hose and nozzle in the compartment.
Inflating Other Inflatables Without Valve Stems
- Screw the nozzle adapter into the Sure Fit® nozzle.
- Insert the adapter into the item to be inflated.
- Follow steps 2-4 of the "Inflating Tires" section.
- IMPORTANT: Small items inflate rapidly; avoid over-inflation.
- Compressor stops automatically at desired pressure. Press Compressor Power Button to turn off.
- Disconnect adapter.
- Unscrew adapter from Sure Fit® nozzle.
- Allow unit to cool, then recharge before storing.
- Store hose, nozzle, and adapter in the compartment.
Care and Maintenance
Batteries lose energy over time. Recharge at least every 30 days if unit is not in use. Never submerge the unit in water. Clean exterior with a soft cloth.
No user-replaceable parts. Periodically inspect adapters, connectors, and wires.
Battery Replacement/Disposal
Battery Replacement: Battery life depends on recharge cycles and proper care. Contact manufacturer for information.
Safe Battery Disposal
Contains a sealed, non-spillable, lead-acid battery. Recycling is required. Failure to comply with regulations can result in fines or imprisonment. Please recycle.
WARNINGS: Do not dispose of battery in fire (explosion risk). Protect terminals with heavy-duty electrical tape before disposal to prevent shorting. Do not expose battery to fire or intense heat.
Troubleshooting
Unit will not charge: Ensure AC/USB power button is OFF. Ensure extension cord is suitable gauge and properly connected.
Unit fails to jump-start: Ensure unit is not in Compressor mode. Ensure Jump Starter Power Switch is ON. Ensure correct polarity cable connection. Check unit charge; recharge if necessary.
120V AC outlet will not power appliance: Ensure AC/USB power button is ON. Ensure appliance draw is not over 500 watts. Refer to important notes in the manual. Check unit charge; recharge if necessary.
12V DC accessory outlet will not power appliance: Ensure appliance draw is not over 5 amps. Check unit charge; recharge if necessary.
USB power port will not power appliance: Ensure USB device draw does not exceed 2.1A. Ensure AC/USB power button is ON. Some household USB electronics may not be compatible. Check unit charge; recharge if necessary.
LED area light does not come on: Ensure area light power button is pressed. Check unit charge; recharge if necessary.
Portable compressor will not inflate: Ensure unit is not in Jump Starter mode. Ensure compressor power button is ON. Ensure Sure Fit® nozzle or adapter is securely connected. Compressor may be overheated; turn off and allow to cool for 30 minutes. Check unit charge; recharge if necessary.

Full One-Year Home Use Warranty
Manufacturer warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship for ONE (1) YEAR from the date of retail purchase by the original end-user purchaser. If a defect exists and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, the product may be replaced or repaired at the manufacturer's option. Proof of purchase may be required. Returns to retailers are subject to the retailer's return policy (typically 30-90 days for exchanges).
This warranty does not apply to accessories, bulbs, fuses, batteries; defects from normal wear and tear, accidents, shipping damage, alterations, unauthorized use/repair, neglect, misuse, abuse, or failure to follow care/maintenance instructions.
