Troubleshooting
Fountain is not pumping water.
Possible Causes:
- Pump is not covered with water.
- Pump or fountain is blocked.
- Pump is not secured correctly.
- Pump is not electrically connected.
- Pump may be "air locked."
Corrective Actions:
- Add more water to the reservoir.
- Disconnect the fountain from the power source, remove any obstruction, and clean the bowl and tubing.
- Disconnect the fountain from the power source, drain any remaining water, and ensure the tubing in the reservoir is tightly secured to the pump outlet.
- Check to make sure the pump is plugged in and the outlet is working.
- Plug and unplug the pump several times to clear any trapped air.
Note: This fountain features a thermal protection pump. The pump will shut off automatically when it overheats due to a lack of water. It will restart after several minutes once the pump body has cooled. This cycle continues until the pump is submerged in water.
Care and Maintenance
Regularly check that the water reservoir has sufficient water to cover the pump at all times. More frequent checks are necessary in warm or windy weather.
The pump rotor requires cleaning at approximately monthly intervals, indicated by a drop in water flow rate. To clean: Unplug the water feature, remove the pump from the reservoir, and disconnect the water pipe. Remove the filtering cover and pressure-casing from the front of the pump body. Clean the rotor and housing in clean water using cotton buds. Reassemble the pump, reconnect the water pipe, and reassemble the water feature.

Replacing the Light
Step 1: Press down gently on the light to remove it from the fountain body.
Step 2: Take off the light.
Step 3: Insert a new light into the light holder. Ensure the light is flush with the surface of the fountain body.

Warranty
This product is covered by a one-year manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. The warranty does not cover abuse, alteration, damage, misuse, cuts, wear, or commercial applications. The manufacturer disclaims other warranties. This warranty provides specific legal rights, which may vary by state. It is limited to the replacement of defective parts; labor charges and consequential damages are excluded. Damage from neglect, misuse, accidents, or improper installation voids the warranty.
Safety Information
DANGER:
As with any large container of water, use fountains carefully with adult supervision. They are not intended as "kid pools" and pose a risk to small children and infants, potentially causing injury or accidental drowning. Ensure the pump plug is dry before plugging into an outlet and avoid standing in water to prevent electrical shock.
NOTE:
To prevent water from dripping down the power cord and into the wall outlet, allow the pump power cord to hang at a lower level than the wall outlet, forming a "drip loop" [drip loop illustration].
Diagram Description: A diagram illustrates the concept of a "drip loop" for electrical safety, showing the power cord forming a U-shape below the outlet.
