Important Safety Warning
Attention: 220 AC is very dangerous. Get help from an electrician to connect 220 AC wires to the Sonoff device.
Initial Power-Up
When you power up the device, it will broadcast a WiFi network named "HomeHome-XXXXXX" with the password "homehome".
The device LED will NOT blink when it gets power. After setup is finished, the LED will blink after 30 seconds (3 times) when the device restarts.
Device Setup
You will see a captive portal for device setup. If it doesn't start, disconnect from WiFi, unplug-plug the device, and reconnect to WiFi.
- Select device type: "Sonoff TX Double Switch OR Sonoff TX Roller Shutter/Blind".
- Select switch type: "Momentary".
- Enter your GMAIL address used on your Android Phone.
- Enter a static IP (optional). It is recommended to set this now to avoid resetting the device. Alternatively, manage static IP via your router.
- Select your Home WiFi and enter its password. If your network is not listed, enter the SSID manually. Ensure the password is correct for network connection.
- Save settings and start the Apple HomeKit application to add the accessory. Wait 1-2 minutes for auto-registration to HomeHome.app.
- For Roller Shutter/Blind setup: Set open-close time via the http local server (refer to step 10).
Apple HomeKit Setup
You can pair HomeKit within 90 seconds after restart. The pair code is 111-88-111.
Select your room and assign a name to your device. Important: Unplug and plug the device again after successful pairing.
If you do not use HomeKit, wait 3 minutes for 3 LED blinks. Enter your device's IP address (from step 10) into a web browser. Enter your full Gmail address to connect to the HTTP server. Click the "Settings" button, activate "Skip HomeKit Pair Standby Time", and then click "Restart Device".
Google Home Setup
Open the Google Home app on your Android phone.
Tap +, then "Set up device", then "Works with Google", search for "+HomeHome", and log in.
Important: For Google Home functionality, send your Gmail address and device ID (XXXXXX) to info@homehome.app for activation.
Ensure your Gmail address matches:
- Your Android phone account.
- Your +HomeHome login account.
- Device setup (step 3).
- WEB UI Setup (step 9).
WEB UI Setup
Access the WEB UI at: https://smart.homehome.app
You must register your device by signing in with the same Gmail account. Click the "Manage" tab and activate the Device ID (XXXXXX) by unplugging/plugging or restarting the device via the HTTP server.
HTTP Server and 3rd Party App Control
Accessing the HTTP Server
Enter your device's IP address into a web browser.
Q: Where to find the IP address?
A: Long-press the accessory in the HomeKit app to see its IP address. Alternatively, find the device's MAC address (XXXXXX) in your router's DHCP list.
Enter your full Gmail address (with @gmail.com) in the server interface.
3rd Party Apps
You can control HomeHome.App with third-party applications. Your email address must be a Gmail address. Do not add "@gmail.com" for HTTP GET requests.
- Turn on 1st relay:
https://ip.address/1/on?myEmail
- Turn off 1st relay:
https://ip.address/1/off?myEmail
- Get all relay states:
https://ip.address/all?myEmail
All state replies are in an array format, e.g., [0,1,2,2]
, where 0 = off, 1 = on, 2 = none. 1-2-4 relay devices use the same firmware; the example shows a 2-relay device with the first relay off and the second relay on.
