Every Zoneline unit with Perfect Control Technology incorporates features known for efficiency, reliability, and sound performance. The variable speed compressor and advanced defrost capability ensure reliable cold weather heat pump operation down to 0°F (excludes ICR models).

Electrical Connection & Sub-Base Options

Power Connection Kits are required for all models and are determined by the voltage and amperage of the electrical circuit. Options include line cord kits for plug-in installation or direct connect kits for permanent connections.

  • RAK204D* (230/208V): Sub-Bases with Power Cord Included. Heavy-gauge steel, full base enclosure, adjustable side channels, 4-point leveling. Available for 15, 20, and 30 amp circuits. (*Requires RAK4002D Junction box).
  • RAK204U: Non-electrical Sub-Bases. Heavy-gauge steel, full base enclosure, breakaway side channels, 4-point leveling.
  • RAK204E (265V): Sub-Bases with Power Cord Included. Similar to RAK204D but for 265V circuits (15, 20, 30 amp).
  • RAK205CW: Chaseway for wiring containment.
  • RAK204SW: Disconnect Switch for use in sub-base.

  • RAK190V: PERFECTCONTROL Energy Management Thermostat. Supports 2-way communication (AZVS models) for full inverter control and Makeup Air occupancy control, or 1-way communication (AZ45/65, AZES/AZHS models) with occupancy sensing and configurable outputs. Compatible with SmartHQ™ management.
  • RAK149F2A: Digital 2-fan speed thermostat for fixed speed models (AZ45/65, AZES/AZHS).
  • RAK149P2A: Programmable dual-use digital thermostat for fixed speed models.
  • RAK180W1: Energy Management Occupancy Sensing Wired/Wireless Thermostat. Makeup Air compatible, includes control card, extra relay for Makeup Air duct door control.
  • RAK150VF2: 2-Stage Cool/Heat Thermostat for Inverter VTAC units, supporting variable speed control.
  • RAK160W2: Wireless Thermostat with Two Fan Speeds for fixed speed models.

Warranty Information

GE Appliances provides a comprehensive warranty for Zoneline units:

  • One Year: Covers any part failing due to defects in materials or workmanship, including labor and service costs.
  • Five Years: Covers the Sealed Refrigerating System (compressor, condenser, evaporator, tubing, Makeup Air system) for defects, including labor and service costs.
  • Second Through Fifth Year: Covers specific components like Fan Motors, Switches, Heater, Circuit Boards, etc. GE provides the replacement part free of charge; customer is responsible for labor and service costs.
