KMC Controls BAC-5051AE BACnet Router
Description
The KMC Controls BAC-5051AE is a multi-port BACnet router designed for efficient network traffic management. It is suitable for heavy network loads and can also serve as a service tool for control technicians.
Routing: Enables BACnet IP, Ethernet, and MS/TP routing. IP routing complies with BACnet Standard 134-2012, Annex J.
Browser Configuration: Configuration is performed using any Internet browser, eliminating the need for specialized software.
Flexible Mounting: Offers two mounting options for permanent installations: DIN rail or surface mount.
Diagnostics: Includes embedded metrics such as total device count, frame counts, error frames, data frames, duplicate MAC addresses, token passing, and poll-for-master count.
MS/TP Diagnostics Capture: Allows for troubleshooting MS/TP issues by capturing, saving, and analyzing network traffic in industry-standard .pcap files.
Network Learning: Automatically detects and configures routing for discovered networks.
Routing Enable/Disable: The router can be used as a diagnostic tool to monitor traffic without actively routing it.
Application Features:
- VAV Airflow Balancing: Functions as an airflow balancing tool for BAC-8000 and BAC-9000 series VAV controllers when used with an Internet browser.
- AFMS Configuration: Used to set up an Airflow Measurement System (AFMS).
- Zone Configuration: Used to set up a BAC-120063CWZEC zoning Flexstat.
