General
The microprocessor-controlled Honeywell FEMA Smart SN Electronic Pressure Transmitters measure relative pressure ranges from -1...+1 bar and 0...40 bar. They are well-suited for a wide variety of applications, including the precise recording and monitoring of system pressures. The M12x1 angled plug is included in the scope of delivery. The devices are screwed directly into the pressure line or pressure vessel (G1/2"). Both 2- and 3-wire versions are available.

Mounting and Electrical Wiring
Mounting
The device is mounted directly to the pipe / vessel via a G1/2" (standard manometer) process connection (size 27 wrench). This process connection serves to fasten and secure the device in place. All mounting orientations are permitted.
Dimensions
The geometry of the G1/2" connection conforms to DIN EN 837. The transmitter has an overall length of approximately 152 mm, with a body diameter of about 64 mm. The G1/2" thread extends about 20 mm, and the M12 connector is approximately 30 mm long.
Pin Assignment of Plug
The plug is an A-coded, 4-prong M12 plug. The pin assignments vary by model type:
- General (PTH...): Pin 1 (L+/~), Pin 2 (WARN), Pin 3 (L-/~), Pin 4 (U/I).
- PTS...V3 (3-wire, 0-10V): Pin 1 (L+), Pin 2 (WARN), Pin 3 (L-/~), Pin 4 (UOUT).
- PTS...A3 (3-wire, 4-20mA): Pin 1 (L+), Pin 2 (WARN), Pin 3 (L-/~), Pin 4 (IOUT).
- PTS...A2 (2-wire, 4-20mA): Pin 1 (L+/~), Pin 2 (WARN), Pin 3 (L-/~), Pin 4 (n.c. - not connected).

Electrical Protection
When powered with DC voltage (Vmax = 35 Vdc), the device is protected against pole-reversal. The input pins of the M12 connector are also protected against miswiring, preventing the device from operating if incorrectly connected.
LCD (HMI-Models Only)
HMI models feature a 19 x 19 mm LCD with a bicolor backlight. The backlight is white for normal operation and red for fault mode. 2-wire models do not have a backlight. The LCD display information refresh rate is adjustable between 1 and 9 seconds.
