Product Overview
This document provides instructions for the MAIWO External Hard Drive Enclosure. This enclosure supports both 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch SATA SSDs and HDDs, offering a storage capacity of up to 16TB and a data transfer speed of 5Gbps. It also features SD card storage and a CD box reader.

Installation and Usage
Step 1: Connect the Drive
Open the enclosure and carefully insert your 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch SATA HDD/SSD into the designated slot. Ensure it is securely seated.
Step 2: Connect Power and Data Cables
Connect the provided USB cable to the enclosure and your computer. If a separate power adapter is included, connect it to the enclosure and a power outlet.
Step 3: Power On
Turn on the enclosure using the power switch, if available.
Step 4: Computer Recognition
Your computer should automatically detect the new hardware. You may need to initialize and format the drive through your operating system's disk management utility if it's a new drive.
Step 5: Using SD Card Storage
Insert an SD card into the SD card slot on the enclosure. This can be used for data transfer or storage.
Step 6: Using CD Box Reader
The CD box reader allows for the management or reading of CDs.
Troubleshooting
- Drive Not Recognized: Ensure all cables are securely connected. Try a different USB port on your computer. Verify the drive is properly seated in the enclosure.
- Slow Transfer Speeds: Confirm you are using a USB 3.0 or higher port on your computer. Check the drive's health and specifications.
Safety Precautions
- Handle the enclosure and internal components with care to avoid static discharge.
- Do not expose the enclosure to extreme temperatures or moisture.
- Ensure proper ventilation to prevent overheating.
