Manufacturer's Limited Warranty
MTD LLC warrants this product against defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of original purchase. MTD will, at its option, repair or replace any defective part free of charge.
This warranty applies only if the product has been operated and maintained according to the Operator's Manual and has not been subject to misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, improper maintenance, alteration, vandalism, theft, fire, water, or natural disaster. Damage from unapproved parts or attachments will void the warranty.
Normal Wear Parts are warranted for thirty (30) days from the date of purchase. These include items such as: batteries, belts, blades, grass bags, wheels, seats, tires, etc.
Attachments are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase or lease.
Warranty Exclusions:
- Engine or component parts (may have separate manufacturer warranty).
- Routine maintenance items (lubricants, filters, blade sharpening, tune-ups, adjustments, normal exterior finish deterioration).
- Service by unauthorized personnel.
- Products sold or exported outside the US/Canada (unless through authorized channels).
- Non-genuine MTD replacement parts.
- Transportation charges and service calls.
- Commercial use.
No implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose apply after the express warranty period. The exclusive remedy is repair or replacement. MTD is not liable for incidental or consequential loss or damage.
IMPORTANT: Owner must present Original Proof of Purchase to obtain warranty coverage.
