1. Display Interface Description
The display interface shows various indicators and the digital display area. The indicators are numbered 1 through 9:
NO. | Description | NO. | Description |
---|---|---|---|
1 | Fast charge indicator | 5 | Abnormal temperature indicator |
2 | Charging indicator | 6 | Digital display area |
3 | USB-A/USB-C output indicator | 7 | Voltage indicator |
4 | Jumpstarter connection abnormal indicator light | 8 | Charge and discharge power |
9 | Battery indicator |
The digital display area (6) shows voltage and current information.
2. Display Interface Description
To wake up the product, short press the power button [power-button] or the LED power button [light-button].
3. How to Use the Car Jumpstart Function
3.1 Method one: Normal jumpstart
- Connect the positive and negative clamps of the product to the positive and negative terminals of the car battery, ensuring a good connection.
- Wake up the product. Short press the LED light button [light-button] or the Switch button [switch-button]. If the connection is good, a green indicator light on the display panel will be on and flashing, and the positive and negative voltages of the startup power supply in parallel with the car will be displayed. The car can now be started.
- If the car starts successfully, the product will automatically turn off the power output from the clamps.
- In most cases, the vehicle will start successfully on the first attempt. For some vehicles, the jumpstarter may need to be connected for 30-120 seconds (during which the product recharges the car battery) before starting. If the vehicle does not start immediately, wait 20-30 seconds and try again. Do not attempt more than 5 consecutive starts within 15 minutes.
- After use, remove the clamps. Long press the Power button [power-button] for 2 seconds to shut down. If the product is not operated for 60 seconds, it will shut down automatically.
Diagram Description: Visuals show the correct connection of red positive clamp to positive battery terminal and black negative clamp to negative battery terminal. Multiple steps are illustrated, including connecting the clamps, the product display, and the car engine starting.
3.2 Method two: Force Start
Safety reminder: Some safety protection mechanisms are invalid in this mode and require cautious use. Ensure the positive and negative clamps are not connected together to prevent short circuits, product damage, sparks, or other serious consequences. Always check the manual before operation.
- When the normal start function fails (e.g., car battery voltage is very low, less than 1V), you can use the forced emergency start function after checking the operating manual.
- Insert the Clamps cable connector into the EC8 jumpstart output port of the product.
- In the power-on state, long press the Power-on + LIGHT button [power-light-button] for 3 seconds to enter the forced start mode. The green indicator light on the main interface will turn on, indicating that the jumpstart output is active. Prevent positive and negative clamps from touching each other to avoid short circuits. (Note: The forced start function must be activated first, then connect the clamps to the car battery; otherwise, the output will not activate).
- Connect the positive and negative clamps to the positive and negative terminals of the car battery respectively. A slight spark during connection is normal. Ensure a good connection. The product display screen will show the jumpstarter's voltage in parallel with the car battery, and the car can be started.
- Short press the Power button [power-button] to exit the force start mode.
Diagram Description: Visuals illustrate connecting the jumpstarter clamps to the car battery terminals, emphasizing the correct polarity.
4. How to Use the Voltmeter Function
- Connect the clamps to the product's EC8 jumpstart output port.
- Connect the positive and negative clamps to the positive and negative terminals of the car battery respectively, ensuring a good connection.
- At this point, the green indicator light on the main interface will flash, and the jumpstarter's voltage in parallel with the car battery will be displayed. To check only the car battery voltage, short press the Power button [power-button] to exit the start mode. The jumpstarter will enter measurement mode, the green indicator light will turn off, and only the car battery voltage will be displayed.
- Disconnect the jumpstarter clamps from the car battery to exit the voltmeter function mode.
Diagram Description: Visuals show the process of connecting the jumpstarter clamps to the car battery terminals for voltage measurement.
5. How to Charge
Required for charging: Power adapter supporting PD protocol, USB-C to USB-C cable, or cigarette lighter plug to DC wires.
5.1 Two Charging Ways
- Use a USB cable to connect a power adapter to the product's USB-C charging port.
- Use the cigarette lighter plug to DC wires to connect the car's cigarette lighter and the product's DC input port.
When charging normally, the battery indicator on the screen will be in marquee mode, and the "IN" indicator will be on. If the "FAST" indicator is on, it signifies fast charging.
If the product's power is exhausted or low, please charge it promptly to prevent abnormal battery undervoltage. Leaving the product with a zero battery state for extended periods may render it unchargeable.
6. Charge Your Phone with USB-A
- Connect the USB cable's USB-A port to the product and the Type-C port to the mobile phone's charging port.
- Press the switch button [switch-button] or the light button [light-button] to wake up the product.
After successful charging, the "OUT" indicator on the product will flash. (Note: The "OUT" indicator flashes when the USB-C output is used alone to charge a device successfully. The "OUT" indicator remains continuously on when both USB-C and USB-A outputs are used simultaneously.)
7. LED Light Function
- Press the LED light control button [light-control-button] for 1 second to turn the LED light on.
- Short press the LED light control button [light-control-button] to switch modes: light, strobe, SOS, and off.
- Press the LED light control button [light-control-button] for 2 seconds to turn the LED light off.
