Important Information
Keep this document. This 3 zone programmer is designed to provide ON/OFF control for 3 zones, with the value added application of in-built frost protection and keypad lock.
⚠️ CAUTION! Before commencing, disconnect the device from the mains. There are parts that carry mains voltage behind the cover. Never leave unsupervised when it is open. Prevent non-specialists and especially children from gaining access to it. Never remove this product from the electrical baseplate. Disconnect from mains supply in the event of any damage to any buttons. Do not use sharp tools to push any button.

2. Factory program settings
The following are the factory default program settings for different modes:

3. Resetting the programmer
It is necessary to press the
button prior to initial programming. This button is located behind the cover on the front of the unit.4. Setting the date and time
To set the date and time:
- Lower the cover on the front of the unit.
- Move the selector switch to the position.
- Press the [ ] or [ ] buttons to select the day. Press [ ].
- Press the [ ] or [ ] buttons to select the month. Press [ ].
- Press the [ ] or [ ] buttons to select the year. Press [ ].
- Press the [ ] or [ ] buttons to select the hour. Press [ ].
- Press the [ ] or [ ] buttons to select the minute. Press [ ].
- Press the [ ] or [ ] buttons to select the program mode (5/2D, 7D, or 24H). Press [ ].
The date, time, and program mode are now set. Move the selector switch to the
position to operate the programmer, or to the position to change program settings.5. ON/OFF period selection
There are 4 modes available for users to choose from:
- AUTO: The programmer operates 3 'ON/OFF' periods per day.
- ALL DAY: The programmer operates 1 'ON/OFF' period per day, from the first ON time to the third OFF time.
- ON: The programmer is permanently ON.
- OFF: The programmer is permanently OFF.
To change the mode for a zone:
- Lower the cover on the front of the unit.
- By pressing the [ ] button, you can cycle through AUTO / ALL DAY / ON / OFF for Zone 1.
- Repeat this process for Zone 2 by pressing the [ ] button, and for Zone 3 by pressing the [ ] button.
6. Adjusting the program settings
To adjust the ON/OFF times for each program period:
- Lower the cover on the front of the unit.
- Move the selector switch to the position.
- You can now program Zone 1. Press the [ ] or [ ] buttons to adjust the P1 ON time.
- Press the [ ] or [ ] buttons to adjust the P1 OFF time.
- Repeat this process to adjust the ON & OFF times for P2 and P3 for Zone 1.
- Press the [ ] button and repeat the above process to adjust settings for Zone 2.
- Press the [ ] button and repeat the above process to adjust settings for Zone 3.
When completed, move the selector switch to the
position.7. Copy function
This function may only be used if the programmer is in the 7 Day mode.
To copy program settings from one day to another:
- Lower the cover on the front of the programmer.
- Move the selector switch to the position.
- Set the ON & OFF times for the day of the week you wish to copy from.
- Press and hold the [ ] button for 2 seconds. The next day of the week will begin to flash.
- Press the [ ] button to copy the ON & OFF times to this day.
- Press the [ ] button to skip a day.
- ON & OFF times can be copied to multiple days by using the [ ] button.
- Press the [ ] button when copying has been completed.
When completed, move the selector switch to the
position.8. Reviewing the program settings
To review the programmed ON/OFF times:
- Lower the cover on the front of the unit.
- Move the selector switch to the position.
- By pressing [ ], you can review each of the ON/OFF times for P1 to P3 for Zone 1.
- Repeat this process to review the ON/OFF times for Zone 2 by pressing [ ] and then pressing [ ].
- Repeat this process to review the ON/OFF times for Zone 3 by pressing [ ] and then pressing [ ].
When completed, move the selector switch to the
position.9. Boost function
This function allows the user to extend the ON period for 1, 2, or 3 hours. If a zone is currently timed to be OFF, you can switch it ON for 1, 2, or 3 hours.
- Press the required [ ] button: [ ], [ ], or [ ] once, twice, or three times respectively to select the duration (1, 2, or 3 hours).
To cancel the boost function, simply press the respective [
] button again.10. Advance function
This function allows the user to bring forward the next switching time. If a zone is currently timed to be OFF and the [
] button is pressed, the zone will be switched ON until the end of the next switching time. If a zone is currently timed to be ON and the [ ] button is pressed, the zone will be switched OFF until the end of the next switching time.- Press [ ] for Zone 1, [ ] for Zone 2, or [ ] for Zone 3.
To cancel the ADVANCE function, simply press the respective [
] button again.11. Holiday mode
This mode allows the programmer to be switched OFF for a specified period.
- Lower the cover on the front of the unit.
- Move the selector switch to the position.
- Press the [ ] button. The current date and time will flash on the screen.
- It is now possible to enter the date and time when you plan to return.
- Press the [ ] or [ ] buttons to adjust the holiday period required.
- Press the [ ] button. The programmer is now switched OFF for the selected number of days.
By pressing the [
] button again, this will cancel the holiday mode, thereby returning the programmer to the normal settings.12. Backlight mode selection
There are two settings for the backlight:
- ON: The backlight is permanently ON.
- AUTO: On pressing any button, the backlight stays on for 10 seconds.
To adjust the backlight setting:
- Lower the cover on the front of the unit.
- Move the selector switch to the position.
- Press the [ ] button for 5 seconds.
- Press either the [ ] or [ ] buttons to select the ON or AUTO mode.
- Press the [ ] button.
13. Keypad lock and unlock
To lock the keypad:
- Press and hold the [ ] and [ ] buttons for 5 seconds.
- A lock symbol [?] will appear on the screen. The keypad is now locked.
To unlock the keypad:
- Press and hold the [ ] and [ ] buttons for 5 seconds.
- The lock symbol [?] will disappear from the screen. The keypad is now unlocked.
14. Frost protection function
The frost protection function can be set within a selectable range of 5°C to 20°C. This function protects pipes against freezing or prevents low room temperatures when the programmer is OFF or manually set to OFF.
To activate frost protection:
- Move the selector switch to the position.
- Press both the [ ] and [ ] buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds to enter selection mode.
- Press either the [ ] or [ ] buttons to turn ON or turn OFF frost protection.
- Press the [ ] button to confirm.
- Press either the [ ] or [ ] buttons to increase or decrease the desired frost protection setpoint temperature.
- Press the [ ] button to select the setpoint.
When the room temperature falls below the frost protection setpoint, both HOT WATER and HEATING zones will be switched ON. When frost protection is enabled, "Frost" will be visible on the screen. When frost protection is activated, "Frost" will flash on the screen.
15. Master reset
A master reset will restore the programmer to its factory default settings, requiring date and time reprogramming.
- Lower the cover on the front of the programmer.
- There are four hinges holding the cover in place. Between the 3rd and 4th hinges, there is a circular hole.
- Insert a ballpoint pen or similar object into this hole to perform a master reset.
After pressing the master reset button, the date and time will need to be reprogrammed.
