How to Find Your Thermostat Model Number

Identifying the Model Number

To find the model number on your thermostat, follow these simple steps:

1. Step 1: Carefully remove the front cover of the thermostat.
2. Step 2: Locate the model number on the inside of the thermostat, typically on a label. The model number for this unit is 1F85-0477.

The thermostat features a blue backlit display showing the current time, day, set temperature, and system status (Heat, Cool Savings, Fan Auto). It also includes buttons for adjusting temperature (up/down arrows), Hold, and Menu functions. The Emerson logo is visible on the front of the unit.

The back of the thermostat shows the wiring terminals labeled W2/E, W, Y, G, RC, C, and O/B. A caution note advises checking for overheating and replacing batteries if displayed. The model number 1F85-0477 is also visible on the back, often near the wiring terminal block.
