SUNSHINE SS-601G Phone Screen Separator: Rear Cover Removal Guide
Step 1: Start
The process begins by placing the mobile phone, which may have a cracked screen, onto a blue mat. A blue heating device is set to 80°C and positioned above the phone. The phone should be heated at this temperature for approximately 3 minutes to soften the adhesive.
Step 2
Using a gloved hand, a small amount of alcohol is carefully dripped around the edges of the phone's back cover. It is important to pay attention to the LCD screen to prevent alcohol infiltration.
Step 3
The phone is then placed into the SS-601G fixture. This fixture is designed to hold the phone securely during the separation process.
Step 4
Once the phone is fixed in the SS-601G fixture, suction cups are attached to the back cover. These cups will be used to lift the cover.
Step 5
A screw on the fixture is slowly unscrewed. This action allows the suction cup to gradually separate the back cover from the main body of the phone.
Step 6
Throughout the separation process, close attention should be paid to how the back cover is detaching from the phone to ensure a smooth and safe removal.
Step 7
If necessary, additional alcohol can be applied to the edges to further soften the adhesive, making the separation easier.
Step 8
The back cover is separated to the vicinity of the camera module. At this point, the user should stop the lifting process to avoid damaging the camera components.
Step 9
When stopping the separation or before releasing the suction cup, it is crucial to ensure the screw is loosened. This prevents undue stress on the phone or the fixture.
Step 10
With the back cover partially detached, the remaining positions are gradually separated. This involves carefully working around the edges of the phone.
Step 11: End
The rear cover removal is now completed, and the back cover has been successfully detached from the phone, exposing its internal components.
