Controller Button Function Diagram

The controller features the following buttons:

• Light mode / Auto-variable light mode button: Press to cycle through 14 light modes or activate the auto-variable mode.
• Timer mode button: Press to select from 3 timing modes (6H, 9H, 12H).
• On or off light button: Press to turn the light on or off.

Instructions

A. Open the package and verify all parts are present. Contact the seller if any parts are missing.

B. Adjust the bracket gentry to match the fish tank size. Connect the 12V DC power adapter to the light first, then plug the adapter into the socket.

C. Light brightness adjustment button: Press to cycle through 5 brightness levels (10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%).

D. Light mode button: Press to cycle through 14 light modes. The available light colors are: all white, blue, red, green, white on both sides, purple, cyan, yellow, white and blue, red and white, green and white, purple and white, cyan and white, yellow and white. These modes cycle in the order listed.

(1) Auto-variable light mode: Press and hold the light mode button for 3 seconds. When the light turns fully white, the auto-variable mode is active. The light will automatically change colors every 4 seconds, cycling through different colors. A short press of this button will exit the auto-variable mode.

(2) Note: Brightness cannot be adjusted in auto-variable light mode.

E. Timer mode button: Press to select one of three timing modes: 6H, 9H, or 12H.

• 6H mode: Yellow indicator is on. The LED turns off after 6 hours and restarts daily at the same time.
• 9H mode: Green indicator is on. The LED turns off after 9 hours and restarts daily at the same time.
• 12H mode: Red indicator is on. The LED turns off after 12 hours and restarts daily at the same time.
• When all indicators are off, the timing mode is exited.

Note: The memory function retains the last selected color and brightness settings when the light is turned off and on again.

On or off light button: Press this button to turn the light on or off.

Attentions

• Please read this user manual carefully and follow instructions strictly.
• Keep the switch away from water as it is not waterproof.
• Keep the light away from flammable items to prevent accidents.
• Unplug the power and contact the seller if the light is not working properly. Opening the unit will void the warranty.
• Unplug the power before performing any maintenance.
• The operating temperature range for the light is between 23°F to 113°F (-5°C to 45°C).

Warning

To avoid electric shock, do not immerse the switch in water. If the switch falls into or becomes wet, do not touch it until it is unplugged. Observe the following basic safety precautions:

1. Read and follow this user manual strictly.
2. DANGER: To prevent electric shock, exercise caution as water is used with aquarium equipment. Do not attempt to repair the light yourself in the following situations; instead, return it to an authorized service facility for maintenance or discard it.
   • If the light falls into water, DO NOT touch it. First unplug it, then retrieve it. If electrical components get wet, unplug immediately.
   • Carefully examine the light after installation. Do not plug it in if water is present on parts not intended to be wet.
   • Do not operate the light if it has a damaged cord or plug, is malfunctioning, dropped, or damaged in any way. The power cord cannot be replaced; if damaged, the light must be discarded.
   • To prevent the light plug from getting wet, position the aquarium and its stand to the side of a wall-mounted outlet to prevent water from dripping onto the outlet or plug. Arrange a "drip loop" for each cord, where the cord dips below the outlet or connector level, preventing water from traveling along the cord to the outlet. If the plug or outlet gets wet, DO NOT unplug the cord. Disconnect the power at the circuit breaker, then unplug and check the outlet for water. If unsure, consult a certified electrician.
3. Close supervision is required when the light is used near children.
4. To avoid injury, do not touch moving or hot parts.
5. Ensure the light is securely installed before operation.
6. Read and adhere to all important notices on the light.
7. If an extension cord is necessary, use one with a proper rating (amperes or watts). A cord with a lower rating may overheat. Arrange the cord to prevent tripping or pulling.
8. The light is intended for household use only.
9. Save this user manual.

One Year Limited Warranty

This product must be purchased from an authorized AQQA reseller. Visit the AQQA website for a list of authorized resellers. AQQA warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship for ONE (1) YEAR from the original retail purchase date. This warranty is non-transferable.

The warranty covers product replacement for defects but does not cover fish loss, personal injury, property loss, or direct, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the product's use.

Note: AQQA's One-Year Limited Warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, saltwater corrosion, electrical surges, or modifications.

If a defect is discovered, contact AQQA. They will, at their discretion, repair or replace the product free of charge, provided it is returned during the warranty period. A copy of the bill of sale is required as proof of the original purchase date for warranty repairs. AQQA does not warrant any products that are not AQQA's.

This warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged due to accident, abuse, misuse, misapplication, or unauthorized modifications.

Disposal

Do not dispose of this product as unsorted municipal waste. Separate collection for special treatment is necessary. Dispose of this product at an authorized recycling facility for electrical and electronic appliances, rather than with domestic waste. Recycling conserves natural resources. Consult your local seller to ensure environmentally friendly disposal.
