Principle of Operation
The damper is open in standby position. It opens upon command from the CMSI (Fire Safety Control System) or thermal probe, moving to the safety (closed) position. It can be reset remotely via the motorization.

Performance Curves
Diagram Description: Graphs illustrating performance characteristics. The first graph shows Pressure Drop (ΔP in Pa) versus Air Velocity (V in m/s) for various nominal damper diameters (ØD in mm). The second graph shows Acoustic Power Level (Lw in dB(A)) versus Air Velocity (V in m/s).
Installation Diagrams Description
The document includes diagrams illustrating the installation of the ISONE® 2.1 circular fire damper in various construction types:
- Concrete Wall/Slab: Shows the damper installed in a concrete wall or slab, requiring specific clearances (e.g., D+50 mm).
- Lightweight Plasterboard Partition (120 min): Illustrates installation in a 120-minute fire-rated plasterboard partition.
- Lightweight Partition with Post-Mounted Frame (60 min): Depicts installation in a 60-minute fire-rated lightweight partition using a post-mounted frame, showing required clearances (e.g., D+60 mm).
These diagrams specify required dimensions and mounting configurations for each application.
