Hardware Connections

1. Connect gateway modem (1-a) using an Ethernet cable. OR Connect a DSL splitter (1-b) using the gray telephone cable.

2. Connect computer using the yellow Ethernet cable.

3. Connect 3G dongle.

4. Connect the power adapter.

   Diagram Description: The power adapter is plugged into the 'POWER' port on the gateway and then into a wall outlet.

5. Check LEDs.

Internet Setup

Access the web-based configurator by navigating to http://192.168.1.1 in your web browser.

Default login credentials: Username: admin, Password: 1234.

Wireless Setup

WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup)

1. Press the WPS button until the WiFi LEDs blink orange.

2. Press the WPS button on the client (e.g., laptop, smartphone) within 2 minutes.

No WPS

1. The SSID and wireless key are on the device sticker.

   Diagram Description: The device sticker lists fields for SSID (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Wireless Key, Default IP, Username, and Password.

2. Find the device with this SSID. Enter wireless key to connect.

   Diagram Description: A laptop searches for wireless networks, selects a network named "ZyXEL_xxxxx" (SSID), and prompts for a password (Wireless Key).
