Device Overview
Front View
The front of the device features several indicators and ports:
- Power Socket: For connecting the power adapter.
- Power LED: Indicates the power status of the device.
- 2G, 3G, 4G LEDs: Indicate the mobile network connection status.
- SIM Holder: Location for inserting the SIM card.
- Mobile Signal Strength Indication LEDs: Show the strength of the mobile network signal.
- LAN Port: For wired network connections.
- WAN Port: For connecting to a Wide Area Network.
- LAN LED: Indicates activity on the LAN port.
- WAN LED: Indicates activity on the WAN port.
- Ethernet Ports: Additional ports for network connections.
Back View
The back of the device includes connectors for antennas and a reset button:
- Reset Button: Used to reset the device to factory settings.
- WiFi Antenna Connector: For connecting the WiFi antenna.
- Mobile AUX Antenna Connector: For connecting an auxiliary mobile antenna.
- Mobile MAIN Antenna Connector: For connecting the main mobile antenna.
Hardware Installation
Power Socket Pinout
The power socket uses a 4-pin connector with the following pinout:
- Power / Red wire
- Input / Green wire
- Ground / Black wire
- Output / White wire
Installation Steps
- Push the SIM holder button with the SIM needle.
- Pull out the SIM holder.
- Insert your SIM card into the SIM holder.
- Slide the SIM holder back into the router.
- Attach all antennas to their respective connectors.
- Connect the power adapter to the device's power socket and plug the other end into a power outlet.
- Connect to the device wirelessly using the SSID and password provided on the device information label, or use an Ethernet cable connected to the LAN port.

Login to Device
To configure your RUT241 router:
- Open your internet browser and navigate to
http://192.168.1.1
. - Enter the username and password when prompted (refer to image A for login details).
- Upon first login, you will be prompted to change your password for security. The new password must meet specific criteria (at least 8 characters, including uppercase, lowercase, and a digit).
- After changing the password, the Configuration Wizard will launch, guiding you through essential parameter setup.
- Navigate to the Overview page and check the Signal Strength indication (image B). Adjusting antennas or device location can improve cellular performance.
