Device Overview
Front View: Features a power socket for connecting the power supply and an input/output connector for various signals. A Power LED indicates the device's operational status.
Back View: Includes a USB port for connection to a computer, a mobile antenna connector, and a reset button. It also displays Mobile network type LEDs and Mobile signal strength indication LEDs.
Hardware Installation
- Unscrew the two back panel hex bolts and remove the back panel.
- Insert your SIM card into the SIM socket.
- Attach the panel and tighten the hex bolts.
- Attach the mobile antenna (maximum torque 0.4 N·m / 3.5 lbf·in) and connect the USB cable.
Input/Output Connector Pinout
The input/output connector offers configurable inputs and relay contacts:
- DI1 and DI2: DRY/WET configurable inputs. WET: 0-1.9 V is "0", 1.9-3.8 V is "1". DRY: "0" when shorted to GND, "1" otherwise.
- NC*, C*, NO*: Normally Closed, Common, and Normally Open contacts for internal Relays 1 and 2. Relay 1 (Non-latching) ratings: 0.5 A at 60 VDC/70 VAC, 1 A at 30 VDC/VAC. Relay 2 (Latching) ratings: 0.8 A at 70 VDC, 0.9 A at 70 VAC, 2 A at 30 VDC/VAC.
- A: ADC input. Analog voltage range 0-30 V. Can be configured for 4-20mA sensor protocol (0-30 mA current measurement).
- I and : Isolated input contacts. 0-7.3 V is "0", 7.3-71 V is "1".
- +: Power output (+9 ... +30 VDC) connected to the gateway's power supply input. Useful for powering external sensors.
- 3.8: 3.8V power output for 1-Wire sensors.
- 1W: 1-Wire protocol input/output.
- : GND contact.
Power Socket Pinout
The power socket accepts a positive power input (+9 ... +30 VDC) via the red wire and a ground connection via the black wire. The white wire is for I/O.
Device Configuration
- Connect the device to your computer using the USB cable and power it on. Allow up to 30 seconds for boot-up.
- Your computer's OS should detect the USB device and install the driver.
- Open a web browser and navigate to
http://192.168.2.1
to access the gateway's Web interface (WebUI). - Enter the login credentials (default: admin/admin01) when prompted.
- After logging in, observe the Signal Strength indication in the Mobile widget. Adjust antennas or device location to optimize cellular performance.
