Headset Overview
This section provides an overview of the Plantronics BackBeat GO 410 Series headset, detailing its components and controls.
Headset Components and Controls:
- Left Earbud: Features an ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) button, and Volume Up/Down buttons.
- Right Earbud: Features a Center button, Volume Up/Down buttons, and a Smart Magnet.
- [Charge Port]: Located on the headset for charging.
- [Indicator Light]: Provides status information.
Key Functions:
- Answer/End Call: Tap the [Center Button] once (1x) or use your softphone.
- Power On: Tap and hold the [Center Button] for 2 seconds. You will hear "power on."
- Power Off: Tap and hold the [Center Button] for 4 seconds. You will hear "power off."
- Bluetooth Pairing: With the headset powered off, tap and hold the [Center Button] for 4 seconds. You will hear "pairing."
- Play/Pause Music: Tap the play/pause button once (1x).
- Next Track: Tap and hold the Volume Up [+] button for 2 seconds.
- Previous Track: Tap and hold the Volume Down [-] button for 2 seconds.
- Siri, Google Assistant: Tap and hold the [Center Button] for 2 seconds.
- Volume Adjustment: Tap the Volume Up [+] button to increase volume, tap the Volume Down [-] button to decrease volume.
- Mute/Unmute: Press both Volume Up [+] and Volume Down [-] buttons simultaneously. You will hear "mute on/off."
- Active Noise Cancelling (ANC): Tap and hold the ANC button for 2 seconds to toggle ANC on/off.
- Smart Magnet: Tap and hold the Smart Magnet for 2 seconds to toggle its function on/off.

Pairing Your Headset
The first time you power on your headset, the pairing process begins automatically.
- Get Paired: Power on the headset by pressing the [Center Button] until you hear "pairing" and the [Indicator Light] flashes red and white.
- Select "PLT BBGO410 Series" from your device's Bluetooth list. If prompted, enter "0000" as the passcode or accept the connection. Once successfully paired, you will hear "pairing successful" and the [Indicator Light] will stop flashing.
Pair Mode: With the headset powered off, press and hold the [Center Button] until you hear "pairing."
Note: You can connect up to 2 devices to your headset.

The Basics
Power On or Off
Press the [Center Button] until you hear "power on" or "power off."
Charge and Fit
Charging:
It takes 2 hours to fully charge the headset. The [Indicator Light] turns off once charging is complete.
Fitting the Earbuds:
Out of the box, medium eartips are installed on the earbuds. Try each eartip (small, medium, and large) and choose the eartip with the best fit for each ear. Left and right are indicated on the earbud and on the eartip.
To replace eartips:
- Hold the eartip loop, place it over the earbud, and pull the eartip up and over the small tab on the back of the earbud to click it in place.
- Ensure that the tab is not visible and the eartip is locked in place.
Using Your Headset
Calls
- Answer or End a Call: Tap the [Center Button] or use your softphone.
Volume
- Adjust Volume: Tap the Volume Up [+] or Volume Down [-] button.
Music
- Play or Pause Music: Tap the play/pause button once.
- Skip to Next Track: Press the Volume Up [+] button for 2 seconds.
- Play Previous Track: Press the Volume Down [-] button for 2 seconds.
Connectivity and Features
Stay Connected
Bluetooth has a working range of up to 33 feet (10 meters) between the phone and headset before audio degrades and the connection is lost. If you lose connection, your headset will try to reconnect once you move back into range.
Mute
During a call, press the Volume Up [+] and Volume Down [-] buttons simultaneously. You will hear "mute on/off."
Redial
Double-tap the [Center Button] to call the last number you dialed.
More Features
Use Two Devices
It's easy to answer calls from two devices. When on a call, you will hear a ringtone notification of the incoming call from the second paired device. To answer a second call from the other device, tap the [Center Button] to end the current call and automatically answer the new call. If you choose not to answer the second call, it will go to voicemail.
DeepSleep Mode
If you leave your headphones powered on but out of range of your paired phone for 90 minutes, your headset conserves battery power by entering DeepSleep mode. Once back in range with your phone, press the [Center Button] to exit DeepSleep mode.
Smart Magnet
When ON, the smart magnet conserves power by turning off ANC and disconnecting from your Bluetooth source when the earbuds are magnetically latched. Bluetooth automatically reconnects and ANC turns on when the magnets are unlatched.
When OFF, the smart magnet functions only as a magnet, but you can still turn ANC on or off through the settings without using the magnet as a switch.
Convertible Cable
The convertible cable allows the headset to be charged using a USB adapter and a wall outlet, as well as listening to audio while plugged into a mobile device (e.g., on an airplane). When listening to music on the headset while plugged into a mobile device, ensure the headset is powered off.
Note: This adapter is for use only with the attached charging cable. Do not use this adapter with any other cable.
