Functions
Measuring Single Distance
1. Aim the active laser at the target.
2. Press the [Laser On Button].
3. The measured distance (e.g., 39'99" 7/16) is displayed.
Target surfaces: Measuring errors can occur when measuring to colourless liquids, glass, styrofoam, or semi-permeable surfaces, or when aiming at high gloss surfaces. Against dark surfaces, the measuring time increases.
Continuous Measuring
1. Press and hold the [Laser On Button] for 3 seconds.
2. Aim the active laser at the target.
3. The last value measured is continuously displayed.
4. Press the [Laser On Button] to stop continuous measuring.
Area Measurement
1. Press the [Area/Volume/Pythagoras Button] once (1x).
2. Aim the laser at the first target point.
3. Aim the laser at the second target point.
4. The result (e.g., 29.99 ft²) is shown in the main line and the measured distance above.
Volume Measurement
1. Press the [Area/Volume/Pythagoras Button] twice (2x).
2. Aim the laser at the first target point.
3. Aim the laser at the second target point.
4. Aim the laser at the third target point.
5. The result (e.g., 29.99 ft³) is shown in the main line and the measured distance above.
Pythagoras (2-point)
1. Press the [Area/Volume/Pythagoras Button] three times (3x).
2. Aim the laser at the first target point.
3. Aim the laser at the second target point.
4. The result (e.g., 39'99" 7/16) is shown in the main line and the measured distance above.
Pythagoras (3-point)
1. Press the [Area/Volume/Pythagoras Button] four times (4x).
2. Aim the laser at the first target point.
3. Aim the laser at the second target point (perpendicular to the measuring surface).
4. Aim the laser at the third target point.
5. The result (e.g., 39'99" 7/16) is shown in the main line and the measured distance above.
