What's in the Box
The JBL Clip 4 package includes:
- One JBL Clip 4 Portable Bluetooth Speaker

The speaker is available in various colors, including Black (JBLCLIP4BLKAM) and Blue.
Bluetooth Pairing
To connect your JBL Clip 4 to a device via Bluetooth:
- Power on the JBL Clip 4 speaker.
- On your mobile device, navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled.
- Select 'JBL Clip 4' from the list of available devices to connect. A successful connection will be indicated.
Note: Press the Bluetooth button once to initiate pairing mode.
Play Music
Control your music playback on the JBL Clip 4:
- Press the Play/Pause button (▶/‖) once to play or pause music.
- Press the Skip Forward button (▶▶) twice to skip to the next track.
- Press the Skip Backward button (◀◀) three times to go to the previous track.
- Use the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons to adjust the audio level.
Charging
To charge your JBL Clip 4 speaker:
- Connect the USB-C charging cable to the speaker's charging port and to a USB power source.
- A red indicator light signifies that the speaker is charging.
- A solid light indicates charging, while a blinking light may indicate low battery.
- The battery is fully charged when the indicator light turns off.
The speaker provides up to 10 hours of music playtime, which may vary by volume level and audio content. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours (using a 5V / 500mA power source).
Carabiner Feature
The JBL Clip 4 features an integrated carabiner, allowing you to easily clip the speaker to your backpack, belt loop, or other items for portable listening. Simply open the carabiner gate and attach it securely.
Waterproof and Dustproof (IP67)
The JBL Clip 4 is rated IP67, meaning it is both waterproof and dustproof. This allows the speaker to be submerged in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes. It is also protected against dust ingress, making it suitable for outdoor and travel use.
