Principle of Operation

The E130W dehumidifier works by drawing in air, passing it over an evaporator coil to cool it below the dew point, thereby removing moisture. The collected water is drained away, and the air is then reheated before being returned to the space. Operation is controlled by set points, with the unit cycling on and off to maintain desired humidity levels.

Applications

This dehumidifier is suitable for a wide range of applications, including whole-home dehumidification, as well as targeting moisture issues in basements, crawl spaces, and other areas prone to high humidity.

Installation Options

The AprilAire E130W offers flexible installation configurations to suit various home ductwork setups, including main return to main return, dedicated return to supply/return, and ducted installations for homes without existing ductwork. Specific kits like the Model 5546 Living Space Duct Kit are available for duct-free applications.
