HP LaserJet M109-M112 Series Setup Guide

1 Unpack the Printer

Remove all tapes and foam packaging material from the inside of the printer.

2 Install the Toner Cartridge

Remove the toner cartridge from its packaging. Avoid touching the roller surface on the cartridge.

3 Prepare the Toner Cartridge

Remove the orange guides, tape, and pull the tab to remove the protective film from the toner cartridge.

4 Insert Cartridge and Power On

Reinsert the prepared toner cartridge into the printer and close the printer door. Plug in the power cord and turn on the printer.

5 Load Paper

Open the input tray and slide out the paper guides. Load Letter or A4 paper and adjust the guides to fit the paper. Pull open the tray extender.

6 Software Setup

Install the required HP Smart software from 123.hp.com or your mobile device's app store. Follow the on-screen instructions in the HP Smart app to connect the printer to a network and complete the setup.
