Safety Instructions
General Safety:
- Read the operating instruction manual before riding.
- Check tires for damage before each ride. Contact the dealer for repairs if any parts are loose.
- Do not perform actions that endanger personal or property safety.
- Do not modify the product, as this can affect performance and cause injury.
Rider Weight Limit:
- Minimum weight: 20kg
- Maximum weight: 100kg
WARNING: Overloading the hoverboard can lead to falling and injury.
Range Factors:
- Terrain: Smooth ground increases range.
- Weight: Rider's weight affects range.
- Ambient Temperature: Optimal temperature increases range; extreme temperatures decrease it.
- Maintenance: Proper charging and maintenance maximize range.
- Speed and Riding Style: Medium speed and smooth riding increase range; frequent starting, stopping, and acceleration decrease it.
Speed Limit:
- Top speed: 8-12 km/h.
- An alarm sounds when exceeding the speed limit.
- Maintain a safe speed to ensure balance. The hoverboard may tilt upwards if the speed limit is exceeded.
Riding Method
Before Riding:
- Ensure you understand all safety precautions in the manual.
Riding Steps:
- Press the power switch. The working indicator will light up, and the hoverboard will enter automatic balance state.
- Step onto the deck with one foot, keeping your body stable. Then, step the other foot onto the other deck.
- Once balanced, you can control the hoverboard by slightly tilting your body forward or backward. Avoid excessive body movements.
- Control left and right turns by shifting your weight.
- To dismount, place one foot on the ground first, then the other foot.
NOTE: If the hoverboard is not level when off the ground, it will beep and the indicator will light, prohibiting automatic balance.
Riding Postures:
Visuals demonstrate leaning the right foot forward to turn left, and leaning the left foot forward to turn right. Correct and incorrect riding postures are shown, emphasizing keeping feet on the decks and maintaining balance.
WARNING: Avoid sharp turns at high speed and riding on slopes, as this can affect balance and safety.
Protections:
The hoverboard has protective features that alert the rider to errors or abnormalities. When riding is prohibited, the warning light stays on, and the buzzer sounds intermittently. The system will not enter balance mode under these conditions.
Common situations triggering protection include:
- Decks tilted more than 10 degrees forward or backward.
- Low battery voltage (system enters stop state after 15 seconds if voltage is too low or high current is drawn).
- Speeding.
- Low battery level (after 30 seconds of swinging, protection mode is activated with continuous alarm light and high-frequency buzzer).
Safety Riding Instructions
General Riding Practice:
- Ensure you are proficient before riding outdoors.
- Wear comfortable sportswear and flat shoes.
- Practice in an open area until you can confidently mount, dismount, move forward/backward, turn, and stop.
- Pay attention to the flatness and slope of the ground. Slow down on uneven terrain.
- Do not keep the hoverboard off the ground while riding.
- This is an auxiliary transportation device for flat roads. Slow down on uneven roads.
- Avoid areas with pedestrians or obstacles if you are not skilled.
- Be aware of your surroundings and maintain good vision.
- Keep a slight bend in your knees for balance on uneven surfaces.
- Always keep your feet on the decks.
- Wear sports-friendly clothing.
- No passengers allowed.
- Do not exceed the weight limit (maximum load indicated in the manual). Exceeding the limit can cause falls, injuries, or damage. Ensure the rider's weight is above the minimum limit for proper control.
- Maintain a speed that allows for timely stopping to ensure safety.
- In case of an accident, wait for relevant authorities to assist.
- Maintain a safe distance when riding with others.
- Remember your height increases by about 10 cm when riding.
- Be cautious when turning to maintain balance and avoid falling.
- Do not ride while distracted (e.g., using a phone, listening to music).
- Do not ride in rain, at high speeds, brake suddenly, or turn sharply.
- Avoid dimly lit or dark places.
- Avoid obstacles, slippery surfaces (snow, ice), rubbish, or scattered twigs.
- Avoid narrow spaces or areas with obstacles.
- Abide by site-specific rules and obtain licenses if required.
- Do not start or stop suddenly.
- Avoid riding on steep slopes.
- Do not use in environments with flammable gases, vapors, liquids, dust, or fibers that could cause fire or explosion.
WARNING: Do not use the hoverboard in situations where you might lose control, bump, fall, or cause injury. Carefully read and follow the instruction manual. Ensure the product is in good condition before use.
Learning to Ride:
- Wear safety gear such as a helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads.
- Hoverboards are for personal entertainment and not for public transport.
- Do not ride on motorways.
- Children weighing less than 20kg should not ride. Adult supervision is required for children.
- Individuals with heart disease, high blood pressure, or impaired self-protection awareness are prohibited from riding.
- Pregnant women and disabled individuals should not ride.
- Do not ride under the influence of alcohol or medication.
- Do not carry items that may cause overload.
- Obey local traffic laws and yield to pedestrians.
Battery Charging and Care
Charging Instructions:
- Ensure the charging port is dry.
- Plug the charger's AC end into a wall outlet (100-240V, 50-60 Hz). The charger's indicator light should be green.
- Plug the charger's DC connector into the hoverboard's charging port.
- The charger's indicator light will turn red when charging normally. If not, check the connection.
- When the red indicator turns green, the battery is fully charged. Stop charging to preserve battery life.
Notes:
- Use local standard wall plugs.
- Charge and store the battery according to regulations to prevent damage and maintain battery life.
- The charging time is approximately 4-5 hours. Overcharging can affect battery life.
- Keep the charging environment clean and dry.
- Do not charge if there is water in the charging port.
Lack of Battery:
- A red flashing power indicator signifies a low battery level. Stop riding.
- Low battery prevents normal riding and may cause falls or damage.
- Discontinue use if you notice any of the following:
- Odor or overheating.
- Spilled substances.
Battery Removal and Maintenance:
- Battery removal and maintenance should only be performed by authorized staff.
- Do not touch leaked materials.
- Keep batteries out of reach of children.
- Unplug the charger before installing or removing the battery.
- Do not attempt to disassemble the battery or insert foreign materials.
- Only use the original battery.
- Unsafe use of lithium batteries is prohibited.
- Discard excessively discharged batteries responsibly.
- Use the battery in accordance with local laws.
High or Low Temperature:
For efficient charging, the battery temperature should be within the marked range during charging. Extreme temperatures can prolong charging time or prevent full charging.
