Keyboard Layout Description
The EPOMAKER RT100 features a compact 98-key layout, offering a full typing experience with a dedicated number pad and navigation cluster, while maintaining a smaller footprint than a full-size keyboard. It supports hot-swappable switches for customization.
Key components and areas include:
- Top Edge: Mode Switch ? (OFF/ON, Mac/Win), USB-C Port ?, 2.4GHz RF Transceiver slot ?.
- Function Row (F1-F12): Top row, accessible with the Fn ⚙️ key for additional functions.
- Main Typing Area: Standard QWERTY layout with alphanumeric keys and symbols.
- Modifier Keys: Esc ?, Tab ➡️|, Caps Lock ?, Shift ⬆️, Ctrl ⌨️, Win ?, Alt ⌥, Fn ⚙️.
- Spacebar: Wide spacebar.
- Navigation Cluster: Arrow keys ↑↓←→, Home, End, PgUp, PgDn, Del ⌫, PrtSc, ScrLK, Pause.
- Numpad: Dedicated number pad with Num Lock, arithmetic operators (+, -, *, /), and Enter ✅.

Connection Modes
The keyboard can be connected via wired or wireless methods.
Wired Mode
To use wired mode, turn the keyboard power switch to the OFF position. Connect the keyboard to your device using the provided USB-C cable. This mode also allows for charging the keyboard.
Wireless Mode (ON)
Turn the keyboard power switch to the ON position to enable wireless operation.
Bluetooth Pairing
To pair a Bluetooth device:
- Ensure the keyboard power switch is ON.
- Long press FN + Q, FN + W, or FN + E for 3 seconds to initiate pairing for Bluetooth 1, 2, or 3 respectively. The indicator light will flash quickly.
- Upon successful pairing, the indicator light will remain lit. If pairing fails within 30 seconds, the indicator light will turn off, and the keyboard will enter sleep mode.
- Short press FN + Q/W/E to switch to the last paired Bluetooth device ?.
2.4GHz Pairing
To pair using the 2.4GHz wireless connection:
- Ensure the keyboard power switch is ON.
- Long press FN + R for 3 seconds to enter 2.4GHz pairing mode. The indicator light will flash quickly.
- Insert the 2.4GHz receiver (dongle) ? into your device.
- Once pairing is successful, the indicator light will stay on. If pairing fails within 30 seconds, the indicator light will turn off, and the keyboard will enter sleep mode.
Mode Switching (System Selection)
Use the mode switch located on the top of the keyboard to select the operating system compatibility:
- Mac Mode: Left position of the switch.
- Win Mode: Right position of the switch.
Selecting the correct mode ensures that shortcut keys function as intended.
Keyboard Wake Up/Sleep
To conserve power, the keyboard automatically enters sleep mode after a period of inactivity. Press any key to wake the keyboard. When in Bluetooth or 2.4GHz mode, the keyboard will automatically reconnect to the last paired device.
Function Key Combinations & Knob Functions
The keyboard offers a range of shortcut functions activated by pressing the Fn key in combination with other keys, as well as functions for the rotary knob.

Knob Functions
- Turn Clockwise: Reduce Volume ?
