Installation Method

Notes on Installation
- ? The installation must be performed or removed by a professional electrician.

- ? The device should be kept away from strong signal sources (such as microwave ovens) to avoid signal interruption and ensure proper operation.
- ? Avoid placing the device close to or near high-density materials (such as metal, concrete walls, etc.), which can reduce or block the wireless signal.
Wiring Diagram
Schematic showing the internal wiring of the switch. AC input (L, N) connects to the switch mechanism, which then outputs to AC (L, N) for a non-dimmable LED lamp. A self-reset switch can be connected for manual control (short press to turn on/off).
? Note: The maximum surge current of the switch is 120A. When connecting multiple capacitive (LED power supplies) or inductive loads, the sum of their surge currents must not exceed this maximum value. Exceeding this limit may cause product damage during long-term use.
System Wiring
Diagram illustrating system integration. A WiFi router connects to the Tuya ZigBee gateway. A mobile phone (using Tuya/Smart life app) and Amazon Echo can control the system. The Tuya ZigBee gateway communicates wirelessly with SS-L(WZ) units, which control non-dimmable LED lights. An optional RF remote can also control the lights directly. Approximate wireless control distances are shown: 15m for WiFi/ZigBee, 30m for RF.
Notes on System Wiring
- ? The distances shown are measured in spacious, unobstructed environments. Refer to actual test distances before installation.
- ? Users can utilize the Tuya ZigBee gateway to enable remote control and voice control capabilities.
APP Operating Instruction
App Download
Please download the corresponding Tuya/Smart life App according to your region.
Network Reset and Configuration
- To reset the ZigBee network: Press and hold the Match/Set key for 2 seconds.
- To clear previous network connection and enter configuration mode: Press and hold the Match key for 5 seconds, or push the Match key twice rapidly. The blue LED indicator will flash quickly.
- Alternatively, to clear previous network connection and enter configuration mode: Repeat powering the device on and off for 5 consecutive times. The output LED will flash 10 times.
Successful Connection Indicator
If the Tuya App network connection is successful, the blue LED indicator will stop flashing. The device will appear as "ZB-SWITCH" in the Tuya App.
APP Interface

The "Timer" function allows for automatic on/off operations within the next 24 hours. The "Schedule" function enables setting multiple timers for specific on/off times throughout the day.
SS-L(WZ) Match RF Remote Control
Users can choose from two methods for matching or deleting RF remote controls:
Method 1: Use the SS-L(WZ)'s Match key
- Match: Short press the Match key on the SS-L(WZ). Immediately press the on/off key (for single zone remotes) or the zone key (for multiple zone remotes) on the remote control.
- Delete: Press and hold the Match key on the SS-L(WZ) for 10 seconds. The light blinking 5 times indicates that all matched remotes have been deleted.
Method 2: Use Power Restart
- Match: Power the device on, then power it off, and repeat this sequence. Immediately short press the on/off key (single zone remote) or zone key (multiple zone remote) on the remote control 3 times. The light blinking 3 times indicates a successful match.
- Delete: Power the device on, then power it off, and repeat this sequence. Immediately short press the on/off key (single zone remote) or zone key (multiple zone remote) on the remote control 5 times. The light blinking 5 times indicates that all matched remotes have been deleted.
SS-L(WZ) Work as Zigbee-RF Converter
The SS-L(WZ) can function as a Zigbee-RF converter to match other RF switches or controllers. Users can choose from two methods for matching or deleting:
Method 1: Use the controller's Match key
- Match: Short press the Match key on the controller. Immediately press the on/off key within the Tuya App. The LED indicator flashing a few times quickly indicates a successful match.
- Delete: Press and hold the Match key on the controller for 5 seconds. The LED indicator flashing a few times quickly indicates that the match has been deleted.
Method 2: Use Power Restart
- Match: Switch off the controller's power, then switch it on again, repeating this sequence. Immediately short press the on/off key within the Tuya App 3 times. The light blinking 3 times indicates a successful match.
- Delete: Switch off the controller's power, then switch it on again, repeating this sequence. Immediately short press the on/off key within the Tuya App 5 times. The light blinking 5 times indicates that the match has been deleted.
