AUTOPHIX V007 Software Update Guide

Step 1: Connect Device to PC

Connect your AUTOPHIX V007 device to your computer using a USB cable.

Step 2: Install Drivers and Open Software

Launch the VAG007 PC Tool software on your computer.

Install the necessary device drivers. Follow the on-screen prompts, clicking "OK" to complete the driver installation.

Step 3: Identify and Select COM Port

Reopen the upgrade software. To ensure correct communication, identify the assigned COM port number for your device. This can be found in your PC's Device Manager, typically under 'Ports (COM & LPT)' as 'USB-SERIAL CH340 (COMx)'.

In the upgrade software, select the correct COM port from the dropdown menu.

Step 4: Load the First Upgrade File

Click the "Main File" button. Navigate to and select the FlashFile_V2.6.BIN file, then click "Open".

Step 5: Perform Initial Update

Click "Open Port" to establish a connection. Then, click "Main Update" to begin the first phase of the upgrade.

Upon successful completion, you will see an "Update Successful!" message. Disconnect the USB cable once the device's main interface is visible again.

Troubleshooting: If the COM port is not detected, verify the USB connection and restart the software.

Step 6: Load and Perform Second Upgrade

Reconnect the data line. Click "Close String" and then "Open String" again.

Click the "FLASH File" button. In the dialog that appears, select the MainFile_V6.4.BIN file and click "Open".

Click "FLASH upgrade" to start the second upgrade process. This step may take longer; please be patient.

Once this upgrade is complete, the device will show its boot interface, indicating it is ready for use.
