Screen Installation Steps
Follow these steps to assemble and mount your Hisense ALR Screen:
-
Prepare the Mounting Location
Choose a suitable wall location for the screen. Ensure the wall is strong enough to support the screen's weight. Use a stud finder to locate wall studs for secure mounting.
-
Assemble the Frame
Lay out the frame components on a clean, flat surface. Assemble the frame according to the diagrams provided in the physical manual, connecting the pieces securely.
-
Attach the Screen Material
Carefully unroll the screen material. If the material has a specific front and back (e.g., for ambient light rejection), ensure the correct side faces outwards. Attach the screen material to the assembled frame using the provided clips or tensioning system. Some screens may require turning the screen around if the material appears white from the front.
-
Mount the Frame to the Wall
Hold the assembled frame against the wall at the desired height. Use a level to ensure it is straight. Mark the mounting hole locations on the wall. Drill pilot holes and secure the frame to the wall using the appropriate mounting hardware, ensuring it is firmly attached to studs if possible.
-
Final Adjustments
Once the frame is securely mounted, make any necessary adjustments to ensure the screen is perfectly flat and level. Check the tension of the screen material.
Connecting to the Laser TV
Ensure your Hisense Laser TV is positioned at the correct ultra-short throw distance from the screen. Refer to your Laser TV's user manual for specific placement instructions.
Troubleshooting Tips
- Screen Not Flat: Check the tensioning system and ensure all frame components are correctly assembled.
- Image Distortion: Verify the projector's alignment and distance from the screen. Ensure the screen is perfectly level.
- Ambient Light Rejection Issues: Confirm the correct side of the ALR screen is facing the audience and that the screen is clean.
Care and Maintenance
Clean the screen surface gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents. Refer to the product manual for detailed cleaning instructions.
