This guide provides essential steps for setting up your Epson Stylus Office B30/T30 Series printer.

Step 1: Unpacking

Unpack the printer and its accessories from the box. Contents may vary by location.

Important: Do not open the ink cartridge package until you are ready to install it in the printer. The cartridge is vacuum packed to maintain its reliability.

Step 2: Turning On

Connect the power cable and plug it in. Then, press the power button to turn on the printer.

Step 3: Installing the Ink Cartridges

1. [Open] the ink cartridge package.
2. [Shake] and [Unpack] the ink cartridge.
3. [Remove yellow tape] from the cartridge.
4. [Install] the cartridge into the printer.
5. [Press] the cartridge until it clicks into place.
6. [Close] the printer cover.
7. [Wait] approximately 2.5 minutes for the printer to charge the ink.

Note: The ink cartridges installed initially will be partly used to charge the print head. These cartridges print fewer pages compared to subsequent ink cartridges.

Step 4: Installing the Software

Important: Do not connect the USB cable until you are instructed to do so.

If a specific screen appears during installation, click [Cancel].

For Windows users: If no installation screen appears, click the appropriate option.

1. [Insert] the software CD/DVD into your computer's drive or download the software.
2. [Follow instructions] on the screen to complete the installation.
3. [Connect] the printer to your PC using the USB cable when prompted by the installer.
4. [Check] the installation details and click 'Next' to continue.
5. The installation is now complete.

Step 5: Loading Paper

1. [Open] the paper output tray.
2. [Load] paper with the printable side facing up.
3. [Pinch and slide] the paper guides to fit the paper size.
