WARNING: Risk to Children and Impaired Persons
Supervision is required for children 12 years and younger, and individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities during operation, cleaning, and maintenance. Ensure children do not play with the appliance, its parts, or packaging.
INSTALLATION WARNING—To reduce risk of fire, electrical shock and injury to persons:
- Place the product away from curtains, draperies, tablecloths, and other fabrics to prevent them from being drawn into the product, which could damage the motor or cause a fire.
- Keep the product away from heat sources like furnaces, fireplaces, and stoves.
- Do not use the product in a window, on an uneven or unstable surface, or near water.
- The appliance, power supply, power cord, and plug must not come into contact with water. Do not use on wet surfaces or in bathtubs/showers.
- Do not use outdoors or expose to weather or elements.
- Arrange the power cord away from traffic areas to prevent tripping. Do not run the cord under carpeting, throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route the cord under furniture or appliances.
- Avoid placing the cord where it can be crimped or closed in doors.
- Ensure the product is placed near an easily accessible outlet for quick unplugging in emergencies.
SAFE USE WARNING—To reduce risk of fire, electrical shock and injury to persons:
- Do not operate with a solid state speed device, such as a dimmer control switch.
- Do not operate any fan with a damaged cord or plug. Discard or return for examination/repair.
- Do not operate if the unit has been dropped or damaged.
- To avoid electrical shock, do not attempt to repair or replace parts yourself. Only original replacement parts may be used. Contact Vornado Consumer Service for replacement parts if the power cord is damaged.
- Before plugging in, ensure your outlet's power supply is compatible with the rating label information (including voltage).
- Do not sit or stand on the product.
- Never use the cord as a handle or yank, strain, or stretch the power cord.
- Do not insert foreign objects into any input or output opening while the product is plugged in.
- If a wall outlet has a loose fit with the plug, discontinue use and contact a qualified electrician to replace the outlet.
- This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade wider than the other). To reduce electric shock risk, the plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If it does not fit fully, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
- Before moving, repositioning, servicing, or cleaning, turn off the power and unplug the product.
- To disconnect, grasp and pull only the plug.
- Power off and unplug if the product will be unattended for an extended period or during electrical storms.
SERVICING WARNING—To reduce risk of fire, electrical shock and injury to persons:
- Clean your product regularly as instructed in this manual.
- Prior to cleaning, turn off the power and unplug the product.
- Do not use gasoline, thinners, solvents, ammonias, or other chemicals for cleaning.
- Do not open appliance housing while the product is plugged in.
- All service and/or repairs must be done by a Vornado Authorized Service Center to avoid shock.
- This product has overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short-circuit. If the fuse blows, unplug the product and replace the fuse according to user servicing instructions. If the replacement fuse blows, the product may have a short-circuit and should be discarded or returned for examination/repair.
User Servicing Instructions (Fuse Replacement):
- Turn off the appliance using the product controls.
- Grasp the plug (not the cord) and disconnect from the outlet.
- Risk of Fire: Replace fuse only with a 2.5 Amp, 125 Volt fuse approved by Vornado Consumer Service. Contact Vornado Consumer Service for an authorized replacement fuse.
- Once the replacement is received, use a small flat-head screwdriver to slide open the fuse cover on the plug.
- Remove the fuse by gently lifting each end with the screwdriver.
- Install the replacement fuse by gently pushing each metal end into the receptacle one at a time. Do not push on the center of the fuse as it is fragile.
- Slide the fuse cover closed using the screwdriver. Ensure the cover fits completely in the plug.
- Plug your appliance into the outlet and turn the power on.
- If the replacement fuse blows, a short-circuit may be present. Discard the product or return it to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
Note: Do not replace the attachment plug. It contains a safety device (fuse, AFCI, LCDI) that should not be removed. Discard the product if the attachment plug is damaged.

GRILLE REMOVAL
WARNING: To reduce the risk of electrical shock and injury, unplug the circulator before removing the grille.
- Depress one of the grille clips by placing your thumb against the outside surface of the clip and pressing downward towards the motor with slight forward pressure. Usually, releasing one clip is sufficient to remove the grille. If not, repeat the process on the remaining clips. A flathead screwdriver can be used if clips are difficult to release.
- Replace the grille by aligning the clips with the holes and firmly snapping the grille back into place.
BLADE REMOVAL
WARNING: To reduce the risk of electrical shock and injury, unplug the circulator before removing the blade.
- Pull the blade straight out from the shaft.
- Wipe the blade with a damp cloth. For greasy environments (like kitchens), mild soap or a common household cleaner may be used. Do not use solvents. Do not place the blade in the dishwasher, as excessive heat can distort the plastic.
- To reattach, ensure the flat side of the shaft aligns with the flat side on the blade's socket. Push the blade all the way onto the shaft until it bottoms out. Do not use a hammer, as this could result in bearing damage.
Note: The motor is permanently lubricated and requires no oiling.
