Installation Steps
The following steps outline the process for connecting cables to the Legrand Valena HD15 and HD15 + Jack modules.
Cable Preparation
- Step 1: Strip approximately 35 mm of the outer sheath from the cable to expose the inner conductors.
- Step 2: Carefully strip approximately 5 mm of insulation from the end of each individual conductor.
Connecting Wires to Terminals
Refer to the Terminal Block Legend below for specific wire assignments based on the type of connection (VGA FULL PIN, VGA RGB HS VS, or Jack).
The diagrams show wires being fed into the module and connected to the corresponding numbered terminals. Ensure each wire is securely fastened.
The module uses a "CLIC" mechanism for securing components.
Final Assembly
Once all connections are made, attach any necessary cover plates to complete the installation.
Important Note on Cable Bending
Ensure that cables are not bent too sharply. Maintain a minimum clearance of 35 mm from the connection point to prevent damage or signal interference.
