Power Up
Follow these steps to power up your weather station:
- Insert 2-AA batteries into your Outdoor Sensor (model TX141TH-Bv3).
- Insert the 5-volt power cord into an outlet, then into your Weather Station (model CA76669). Optional: Insert 3-AA batteries into the Weather Station for backup power.
- Once the sensor is transmitting data to your station, place it outside in a shaded location to protect it from the sun's heat.

Outdoor Sensor (TX141TH-Bv3) Power: Requires 2 "AA" LR6 batteries.
Weather Station (CA76669) Power: Requires a 5-volt power adapter (included). Optional backup power: 3 "AA" LR6 batteries.
Adjustable Backlight
When operating with the power cord, press the [light-button] LIGHT button to adjust the backlight. There are 4 brightness levels, plus an off option.
When operating on battery power only, press any button to light up the display for 10 seconds.
Settings
To enter the Settings Menu, hold the [set-button] SET button.
- Use the [plus-button] [+] or [minus-button] [-] buttons to adjust values.
- Press the [set-button] SET button to confirm a value and move to the next item.
- Press the [light-button] LIGHT button at any time to exit the settings menu.
Settings Menu Order:
- Language (English, Spanish, French, German)
- Beep OFF/ON
- 12HR/24HR format
- Hour
- Minute
- Year
- Month
- Date
- Celsius/Fahrenheit
- Pressure Units: hPa / InHg
- Pressure number setting
The selected language will affect other menu items and the weekday readout. The weekday will set automatically when the Year, Month, and Date are set.
Indoor Comfort Level Indicator
Using relative humidity (RH), these indicators show your indoor comfort level, helping to keep your home safe and comfortable.
RH Range | Comfort Level |

26% RH to 39% RH | GOOD |
40% RH to 75% RH | GOOD |
76% RH to 83% RH | DRY |
84% RH to 99% RH | DRY |
Note: The visual indicators are arrows showing WET, GOOD, or DRY states.
Forecast
The forecast icons use the station's internal barometer to predict conditions for the next 12 hours. The Snow icon appears when temperatures are below 0°C (32°F) and rain or storms are predicted.

- [partly-sunny-icon] PARTLY SUNNY: Partly Sunny
- [clouds-icon] CLOUDS: Clouds
- [rain-icon] RAIN: Rain
- [t-storm-icon] T-STORM: Thunderstorm
- [snow-icon] SNOW: Snow
The sun icon displays during daylight hours, and the moon icon displays during nighttime hours for sunny or partly sunny forecasts.
Pressure / Extra Sensor Area
Pressure: Your Relative Pressure reading comes from the station's internal barometer. Allow up to 10 days for automatic calibration, or manually program your local pressure value in the Settings Menu. Arrows on the left indicate rising [pressure-rising] or falling [pressure-falling] pressure tendency.
Extra Sensors (sold separately): This station can display data from up to 3 additional Temperature/Humidity or Rain Sensors.
To Add Extra Sensors:
- Install batteries into your extra sensor(s). For Temperature/Humidity sensors, ensure you select different channels (1, 2, or 3) before inserting batteries (channel switch is inside the battery compartment).
- Hold the [extra-button] EXTRA button until the Reception Indicator animation starts, indicating a sensor search.
- Sensors should connect within minutes. Press the [extra-button] EXTRA button to cycle through Extra Sensor and Pressure data. The Auto Scroll Icon will appear when activated. Press the [extra-button] EXTRA button again to stop auto-scrolling.
