Your steam generator iron is equipped with:

Getting Started
1. Filling the Water Tank:
- Remove the water tank from the iron's base.
- Fill the tank with tap water up to the 'MAX' level indicator. ?
- Securely reinsert the water tank into the base.
2. Powering On:
- Connect the power cord to a suitable electrical outlet. ?
- Press the main power button ▶️ on the iron's base. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Allow the iron to heat up; this typically takes a few minutes, indicated by a light or sound.
Operation
Selecting Modes:
- Eco Mode ?: Press the 'Eco' button for a balance of performance and energy efficiency.
- MAX Mode ⚡: Press the 'MAX' button for maximum steam power, ideal for heavy fabrics or difficult wrinkles.
Using Steam:
- Press and hold the steam trigger located on the iron's handle to release steam.
- For vertical steaming (e.g., refreshing clothes or curtains), hold the iron upright and press the steam trigger.
- Use the Steam Boost ? function for an extra powerful steam shot when needed.
Fabric Settings:
- Set the iron's temperature according to the garment's care label.
- General guidance:
- Synthetics (Synth.) ?
- Silk (Soie) ?
- Wool (Laine) ?
Maintenance
Anti-calc System:
- Regularly rinse the boiler to maintain the effectiveness of the Anti-calc system and prevent scale buildup.
- Refer to specific model instructions for detailed rinsing procedures.
Emptying the Boiler:
- After each use, ensure the appliance is switched OFF and unplugged.
- Allow the iron and boiler to cool down completely (approximately 2 hours).
- Carefully tilt the iron over a sink to empty any remaining water from the boiler. ?
Cleaning the Soleplate:
- Once cooled, wipe the soleplate with a soft, damp cloth if necessary.
Safety Information
Auto-Off Function:
- The iron will automatically switch off if left unattended for approximately 8 minutes when placed on its heel rest, or after a shorter period if left on its soleplate.
- An indicator light or audible signal will alert you when the auto-off function is active.
- Press the power button ▶️ to reactivate the iron.
General Precautions:
- Always unplug the appliance after use and before filling or emptying the water tank.
- Never immerse the iron or its base in water or any other liquid.
- Keep the appliance out of reach of children.
- Ensure the iron is placed on a stable, heat-resistant surface when not in use.
