Getting Started and Operation
- Fill Water Tank: Open the water tank cap, fill with water up to the MAX line, and close the cap securely. [?]
- Connect Power: Place the iron on its heel rest on a stable surface and plug the power cord into a wall socket. [?]
- Turn On: Press the ON button ⚡. The power indicator light will flash while the iron heats up.
- Heating Complete: Wait for the power indicator light to stop flashing. The iron is now ready for use.
- Ironing: Move the iron over the fabric.
- STEAMBOOST: For extra steam, press the STEAMBOOST button. This is useful for stubborn creases. [?]
- ECO Mode: Press the ECO button to activate energy-saving mode. This reduces steam output and power consumption. [?]
- Temperature Control: Select the appropriate fabric setting using the temperature dial, such as Wool (laine), Silk (soie), or Synthetics (synth.).
- Auto-OFF: The iron is equipped with an Auto-OFF safety feature. If left stationary for a period (e.g., 8 minutes on its heel rest or 30 seconds on the soleplate), it will automatically switch off. [⏳]
Maintenance
Anti-Calc System: To ensure longevity and performance, regularly rinse the anti-calc collector. This involves removing the collector, emptying any water, and rinsing it under running water. [⚙️]
Soleplate Cleaning: If the soleplate becomes dirty, clean it with a damp cloth or a specialized soleplate cleaner after the iron has cooled down. [?]
