Compliance with Regulations & Flight Limits
- DO NOT fly over densely populated areas. DO NOT fly in integrated airspace unless approved by air traffic management authorities.
- DO NOT operate in the vicinity of manned aircraft. Be alert and avoid other aircraft at all times. Land immediately if necessary.
- DO NOT fly the aircraft without authorization in areas prohibited by local laws. All GEO Zones are listed on the DJI official website at https://fly-safe.dji.com/nfz/nfz-query. In compliance with the relevant laws, policies, and regulations, some GEO zones will not appear on the map on the website. Refer to the DJI Delivery app for a complete map of GEO zones in effect.
- DO NOT use the aircraft to carry illegal or dangerous goods or payloads. DO NOT use this product for any illegal or inappropriate purpose such as spying, military operations, or unauthorized investigations.
- Fly no higher than 120 m (400 ft)* above ground level and stay away from any surrounding obstacles.
* Flight altitude restrictions vary in different regions. DO NOT fly above the maximum altitude set forth in your local laws and regulations. Refer to the User Manual for additional limitations.
Flight Environment Requirements
- During takeoff, landing, and flight, keep away from roads, railways, water surfaces, and obstacles such as utility poles, high-voltage lines, and trees. Maintain a safe distance of more than 6 m from crowds and animals. Only fly in open areas.
- DO NOT use the aircraft in severe weather conditions including strong winds, snow, ice, fog, and lightning. Make sure to follow the IP rating requirements when flying in the rain.
- DO NOT fly the aircraft in conditions with a weak GNSS signal, such as indoors, and in environments unsuitable for the Sensing System positioning, such as significant altitude, surfaces with weak textures like water, snow, or plain-colored walls.
- Flying at high altitudes limits the performance of the aircraft and its battery. Fly with caution.
- In low temperature environments, make sure that the flight battery is fully charged and reduce the payload of the aircraft. Otherwise, it will affect the flight safety or a takeoff limit will occur.
- DO NOT use the aircraft near accidents, fire, explosions, floods, tsunamis, avalanches, landslides, earthquakes, dust, or sandstorms.
- To avoid affecting the flight performance and motor service life, DO NOT takeoff or land the aircraft on sandy or dusty surfaces.
- Be extremely alert when flying near areas with magnetic or radio interference. Pay close attention to the video transmission quality and signal strength on DJI Delivery App. Return to the Home Point and land the aircraft if prompted to do so in DJI Delivery App to ensure flight safety. Sources of electromagnetic interference include but are not limited to: high voltage lines, large-scale power transmission stations or mobile base stations, and broadcasting towers.
Pre-Flight Checklist
- Make sure all the devices are fully charged. Make sure the aircraft firmware and DJI Delivery App have been updated to the latest version.
- Make sure there are no foreign objects inside the aircraft. Make sure the air vents and cooling holes of the aircraft are not blocked. Make sure the covers of all the ports have been closed properly if not used.
- Ensure that all parts of the aircraft are intact, securely installed, and functioning properly. Make sure all cables are connected properly and securely.
- Power on the aircraft and the remote controller, and toggle the flight mode switch to N-mode. Make sure the remote controller antennas are adjusted to the proper position. Make sure the aircraft and the remote controller are linked, and the remote controller is in control of the aircraft.
- Make sure your flight area is inside approved zones for UAVs. Place the aircraft on open and flat ground. Make sure there are no obstacles, buildings, or trees nearby and that the aircraft is 6 m away from the pilot. The pilot should be facing the rear of the aircraft.
- To ensure flight safety, enter the operation view of DJI Delivery App and check the parameters according to prompts.
- Divide the airspace for flight when multiple aircraft are operating simultaneously in order to avoid collision mid-air.
Flight Safety Notice
- DO NOT load or unload cargo directly above people.
- Small parts of this product and its accessories are dangerous if swallowed. Keep all parts out of reach of children. DO NOT operate this product in the presence of children.
- Stay away from rotating propellers and motors.
- If there are high-voltage power lines in the task area, carefully plan the route to maintain a safe distance to avoid collisions. If the aircraft collides with power lines, DO NOT touch the aircraft to avoid electric shocks.
- Stop using the aircraft if it does not work properly. DO NOT use an aircraft that has been involved in a collision. Contact DJI Support or a DJI-authorized dealer for assistance.
- Make sure to follow the prompts in the app to return to Home Point and land as soon as possible if warned about low battery, strong winds, compass calibration, or motor overload, etc.
- Wait for the propellers to completely stop spinning after landing, then power off the aircraft and the remote controller. To avoid burns, DO NOT directly touch the motor.
- Only use genuine DJI parts or DJI authorized parts. Unauthorized parts may cause system malfunctions and compromise flight safety.
- DO NOT modify or alter the aircraft, its components, or parts. Unauthorized modification may cause malfunctions and affect the functionality and safety of the aircraft.
- DO NOT power on the aircraft when water is inside the aircraft or its components. Otherwise, it may cause permanent component damage.
- Keep the aircraft away from people and animals at a safe distance when updating firmware, calibrating systems, or setting up parameters.
- DO NOT point the beacon directly into eyes to avoid injury.
- If non-officially recommended products, third-party devices, or payloads are used, resulting in damage to accessories or other products, you take full responsibility for any resulting damage.
- Perform regular maintenance and upkeep according to the Maintenance Manual. DO NOT attempt to repair the aircraft. Contact official support or an authorized dealer if any parts are damaged.
Battery Safety Notice
- DO NOT leave the battery covered in moisture or out in the rain. DO NOT drop the battery into water. Otherwise, an explosion or fire may occur. If the battery comes into contact with liquid, immediately remove the battery, place it in a dry and open area away from flammable materials, and contact DJI Support or a DJI authorized dealer for instructions.
- DO NOT use non-DJI batteries or chargers. Go to https://www.dji.com to purchase new batteries or chargers. DJI takes no responsibility for any damage caused by non-DJI batteries or chargers.
- DO NOT use swollen, leaking, or damaged batteries.
- The batteries should be used at the specified temperature range. A high temperature can cause an explosion or fire. A low temperature will reduce the performance of a battery.
- DO NOT disassemble or pierce batteries in any way.
- The electrolytes in the battery are highly corrosive. If any electrolytes come into contact with your skin or eyes, immediately wash the affected area with water and seek medical support.
- Keep the batteries out of the reach of children.
- DO NOT use a battery if it is involved in a crash or heavy impact.
- DO NOT leave the batteries near heat sources such as a furnace or heater, under direct sunlight, or inside a vehicle on hot days.
- DO NOT store the battery for an extended period after fully discharging. Otherwise, the battery may over-discharge and cause irreparable damage to the battery cell.
