What's in the Box

The package contains:

  • S (5-9mm), M (6-10mm), and L (7-11mm) fully reusable flared silicone earplugs.
  • Ear Caps (1 Unit)
  • Carry Loop & Case (1 Unit)
  • Supplied in a compostible bag

Key Features

Effortlessly adapt to any environment with 23-4dB (NRR) noise reduction. These earplugs offer three distinct modes:

  • Mode 1 (Music): Protects your hearing while maintaining clear sound, ideal for concerts or lively spaces.
  • Mode 2 (Study): Offers full occlusion to block maximum noise, ideal for noisy environments like factories, workshops, or when you need to focus without distractions.
  • Mode 3 (Travel): Keeps you aware of your surroundings, ideal for engaging in a conversation without needing to remove your earplugs.

Warnings & Cautions

Fitting: Ensure the earplugs are fitted correctly for maximum protection. Incorrect fitting can reduce their effectiveness, increasing exposure to harmful noise. If the earplugs feel loose or don't reduce noise effectively, try a different tip size (S, M, L).

Noise Protection: These earplugs reduce noise by approximately 23-4dB (NRR), depending on the mode. They are suitable for everyday use, music, study, and travel environments but are not intended for extremely high-noise environments.

Care & Maintenance: Always keep your earplugs clean to prevent ear infections or irritation. Regularly clean the silicone tips with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh chemicals. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry completely before reusing. Wipe ear caps with a clean, dry cloth. Do not submerge earplugs in water. Reassemble once dry.

Impulse Noise Warning: These earplugs protect against impulse noise (e.g., sudden loud sounds) but may not be sufficient for extreme impulse noise like gunfire or blasts. Use additional protection in high-risk environments.

Choking Hazard: This product contains small parts. Keep out of reach of children and pets to avoid the risk of choking or accidental swallowing.

Do Not Modify: Any modification of the earplugs may reduce their effectiveness and void the warranty.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, moisture, and extreme temperatures to maintain performance.

Obsolescence Date: 2 years from the date of purchase.

Proper Fit, Use, and Inspection: Ensure earplugs are fitted, adjusted, and maintained according to manufacturer instructions. Wear earplugs at all times in noisy surroundings. Inspect regularly for serviceability and replace if signs of wear, damage, or contamination appear.

WARNING: Sudden or fast removal of earplugs from the ear canal may damage the eardrum. Failure to follow instructions may severely reduce effectiveness, leading to inadequate noise protection and potential hearing damage.

Fitting Guide / Changing Modes

Fitting

Ensure the earplugs sit securely and comfortably in your ear. If the earplugs feel loose or don't reduce noise effectively, try a different tip for a better fit (S, M, L).

Changing Modes

You can choose from music, study, and travel modes by rotating the ear cap. Align the indicator lines on the ear cap:

  • Mode 1 (Music): One line aligned on the ear cap.
  • Mode 2 (Study): Two lines aligned on the ear cap.
  • Mode 3 (Travel): Three lines aligned on the ear cap.

Certifications

This product has been classed as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by the European PPE regulation (EU) 2016/425 and has been shown to comply with this regulation through the Harmonised European Standard EN352-2:2020: Ear-plugs.

This product has also been tested and certified to the ANSI S3.19-1974 standard.

Noise Reduction Rating: 14/23/4 Decibels (When Used As Directed). The range of noise reduction ratings for existing hearing protectors is approximately 0 to 30 (higher numbers denote greater effectiveness).

The product carries the CE mark, indicating compliance with EU safety, health, or environmental standards. The EPA label is also present, indicating compliance with US EPA regulation 40 CFR Part 211 Subpart B.

Caution:

  1. The environmental noise level as measured at the ear is 92 dBA.
  2. The NRR is (value on label) decibels (dB).
  3. The level of noise entering the ear is approximately equal to [92dB(A)-NRR] dB(A).

For noise environments dominated by frequencies below 500 Hz, the C-weighted environmental noise level should be used. Improper fit of this device will reduce its effectiveness in attenuating noise. Consult the enclosed instructions for proper fit. Although hearing protectors can be recommended for protection against the harmful effects of impulsive noise, the Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) is based on the attenuation of continuous noise and may not be an accurate indicator of the protection attainable against impulsive noise such as gunfire.
