Travel friendly

For ease of storage while travelling, swing the MIXX EX1 ear pads in towards the headband to pop them in your bag or place the headband around your neck and rotate the earpads to sit on your shoulders for your convenience.

LET'S CONNECT

First Time Pairing

Press and hold the Multi-function Touch Sensor 2 to power on your MIXX EX1 wireless headphones. A voice prompt 'Power on, pairing' confirms the headphones are on and in pairing mode. The LED Indicator Light 9 will flash BLUE and WHITE ready to pair with your audio device. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your audio device to select 'MIXX EX1 Headphones' from the list. Once paired successfully you will hear 'Connected' and the LED Indicator Light 9 will turn off. You can now enjoy your music, watch a video or take a call hands free. If there is no Bluetooth connection after 5 minutes the headphones will automatically turn off by confirming with 'Power off' and the LED Indicator Light 9 will flash WHITE once and then switch off. The headphones will automatically reconnect to the last device they were paired with, confirming 'Connected'.

LET'S ASK GOOGLE ASSISTANT / SIRI

Pair your Bluetooth device with your headphones. Triple tap Multi-function Touch Sensor 1 to activate Siri or Google Assistant. The voice assistant familiar 'Beep' will sound to confirm connection. You can now ask Siri or Google Assistant a question or state a command.

LET'S USE THE PRESET EQ SETTINGS

Choose from 3 Equalisation (EQ) modes to suit your personal preference – no App required.

• Bass boost mode increases the bass sound.
• Voice mode decreases the bass, the high-frequency tones and increases the speech frequencies.
• Music mode returns you to the optimal EQ for music listening.

To change EQ settings, press and hold both 3 and 5 Touch Sensors for 3 seconds to cycle through the Music, Bass Boost and Voice modes. The music mode is your default setting.

LET'S STAY CHARGED

A voice prompt 'Battery low' allows for 2 minutes play time before the headphones power down stating 'Battery low, power off'. The LED Indicator Light 9 will flash WHITE once and will then switch off. Connect the headphones to a suitable USB wall charger, a computer USB port or a power bank using the USB Type C Charging Cable 10 supplied and connect it to the headphones USB Type C Charging Port 8. While charging the LED Indicator Light 9 will glow WHITE. Once the headphones are fully charged, the LED Indicator Light 9 will turn off. This can take between 1 and 2 hours.

LET'S GO WIRED

The MIXX EX1 headphones are suitable for devices with a 3.5mm audio socket. The 3.5mm audio cable 11 supplied provides the flexibility to convert from wireless headphones to wired use. Convenient when watching movies on a plane or when there is no Bluetooth connection. Insert the 3.5mm audio cable 11 into the 3.5mm Audio Port 6 of your headphones and the other end into your phone or the plane's 3.5mm audio socket to start listening to your music or movie. The EQ function is not available when using the 3.5mm audio cable.

LET'S PLAY

First Time Pairing

Press and hold Touch Sensor 2 to power on your headphones. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your audio device to select 'MIXX EX1 Headphones' from the list. Once paired with your device, you will hear 'Connected'.

Play / Pause

Double tap Multi-function Touch Sensor 1.

Volume Up / Down

Single tap Touch Sensor 3 to increase volume / Touch Sensor 5 to decrease volume.

Skip / Previous Track

Press and hold Touch Sensor 3 / Touch Sensor 5 for 3 seconds.

Control Summary

• Activate Siri or Google Assistant: Triple tap Multi-function Touch Sensor 1. The voice assistant familiar 'Beep' will sound then ask a question or state a command.
• Change the preset equalisation (EQ) settings: Press and hold both 3 and 5 Touch Sensors for 3 seconds to cycle through Music, Bass Boost and Voice modes to find your preferred setting.
• Answer an incoming call: Single tap Touch Sensor 4.
• End a call / Decline an incoming Call: Press and hold Touch Sensor 4 for 3 seconds.
• Power on: Press and hold the Touch Sensor 2 and a voice prompt will confirm with 'Power on, pairing'. The LED Indicator Light 9 will flash BLUE and WHITE.
• Power off: Double tap Touch Sensor 2. A voice prompt will confirm with 'Power off'. The LED Indicator Light 9 will flash WHITE and will then switch off.

If you are experiencing problems with your headphones:

Q. Will my headphones remember the last device I paired with or do I have to pair them again?

A. Your headphones will remember the last device they were paired to and become enabled whenever Bluetooth is turned on.

Q. How long does the battery last on my wireless headphones?

A. The battery lasts up to 40 hours on a single charge.

The headphones and the USB Type C cable are not water resistant and should not be exposed to rain, moisture, any splashing or liquid spills. This may cause excessive heat and may lead to fire damage or personal injury.

CAUTION

This product contains a Lithium battery. Incorrect disposal of this battery may result in an explosion.
