By accepting delivery of this product, you agree not to change, alter, or modify it, or remove or disable safety features. You also agree to accept any retrofit kits provided by Mcombo to enhance safe use.
Safety Guidelines
1. Mandatory
Read all safety and other instructions thoroughly before use. Failure to follow guidelines and warnings can result in personal injury or product damage and will void the warranty. Keep this manual for future reference.
2. Danger
- Keep plastic bags away from children to prevent suffocation.
- Do not allow children to play on or near the chair when in use, as serious injury or death could occur if a child is under the chair when it is in motion.
- Keep cords out of reach of small children and avoid trip hazards.
- Plug directly into a wall outlet; do not use extension cords or adapters.
- Do not use the product if it is wet, in water, or around liquids.
- Always leave the chair in an upright and closed position. Keep hands and feet clear of all moving parts. The footrest must be fully closed before entering or exiting the chair. Only the occupant should operate the chair.
- Before moving or troubleshooting, unplug power cords and secure the mechanism to prevent unexpected movement.
- Do not operate the unit until the back is installed and locked.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the actuator or pump, as there are no serviceable parts inside.
- Prevent electrical cords from being pinched between moving parts or between the frame and the floor. Do not place cords under carpet where they could become worn.
- To disconnect the power plug, always pull the plug itself, not the cord.
- Supervise children and disabled persons closely when they use the product.
- Keep children and pets away from openings and moving parts to reduce the risk of head entrapment and other injuries.
- This product has many moving parts; keep hands, fingers, and body parts away from the mechanism to prevent serious injury.
- To exit safely and prevent tripping, bring the back upright and close the footrest.
- Place tables and area rugs at a distance to allow the footrest to extend fully without obstruction.
- Regularly check power supplies, electrical cords, plugs, and connectors for damage. Keep them away from heat sources. Never operate the unit with damaged components.
- Do not charge devices via USB ports for more than 24 hours.
- Do not charge devices requiring more than 5V/2A with the USB ports.
- Do not cover USB ports with other heat-dissipating electronic products to prevent overheating or melting.
- Unplug the power cord immediately if you detect strange odors or fumes, and contact Mcombo Customer Support.
- The chair is intended for a single occupant not exceeding 320 lbs. Do not allow more than one occupant.
- Include this owner's manual if giving the product to someone else.
3. Warning
- Weight Capacity: 320 lbs.
- INDOOR USE ONLY.
- To avoid tip over, do not put weight against the back of the chair.
- Do not stand, sit, or place extra weight on the arms, back, or open footrest.
- Do not use the product if it is damaged. Do not use unauthorized attachments or substitute parts.
- Avoid exposing the upholstered chair to burning cigarettes, open flames, and high temperatures.

3. Assembly Steps
Step 1 - Wood Foot Screw and Washer Assembly
- Insert the screw and washer into the pre-drilled hole at the bottom of the armrest.
- Ensure the screw is properly screwed in and tighten it.
- Ensure the wood foot does not move.
- Attach the felt pads onto the feet.
- Repeat the above 4 steps for the other armrest.
Step 2 - Armrest Assembly
- Flip the base onto one side. Ensure the left armrest brackets align with the base brackets. Slide the left armrest parallel to the base.
- Flip the base to the other side and repeat the same step for the right armrest.
Step 3 - Backrest Assembly
- Align the brackets of the backrest with the clips on the base-back.
- Push firmly the brackets into the base-back. Listen for a "click" on each side to ensure the backrest is locked properly.
- ❗ Ensure the two brackets on the base are both inserted onto the armrest tightly.
- Turn the recliner upright and press the base to ensure all 4 brackets are fully inserted.
- ℹ️ Pull up the backrest to check if it is locked in place.
Step 4 - Wire Connections
Before attaching the lift remote to the base, route the wire through the side loop of either armrest according to user preference.
Step 5 - Final Check
- Ensure both metal brackets on each armrest are securely mounted on the base. (Note: Each side of the base has two metal brackets. Inserting into only one bracket may seem complete but could lead to detachment if pressure is not evenly distributed across both.)
- Make sure the screws on the four wood feet are properly tightened.
- Verify that the backrest inserts are securely locked to the base.
- Double-check that all wires are firmly connected.
- Ensure wires are not placed at the bottom of the frame where they could be pressed. (Note: Pressed wires risk damage and malfunction.)
ℹ️ If you discover a problem during setup, stop and contact Mcombo Customer Support. Do not plug the unit into the electrical outlet until the problem is corrected. Do not attempt to fix electrical problems yourself.
Operating Instructions

- Do not use an extension cord.

- Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
- Periodically check controls and power cords for visible damage.
- Always leave the chair in an upright and closed position when not in use.
- Do not use the footrest as a seat or for purposes other than intended.
- Do not lean or apply downward force to the chair-back while in a reclined position.
2. Remote Operation Instruction
- POWER HEADREST (BACK): Press and hold to return the power headrest to the original position.
- POWER HEADREST (TILT): Press and hold to tilt the power headrest to a comfortable position.
- LEAN BACK: Press and hold to recline the backrest of the chair.
- RESET BACK: Press and hold to return the backrest to the original position.
- FOOTREST (DOWN): Press and hold to lower the footrest.
- FOOTREST (UP): Press and hold to raise the footrest.
3. Operation Instruction
Seating Position
For a short break, the chair provides immediate comfort in its upright position.
TV Position
Adjust the footrest and headrest to maintain an optimal viewing angle for relaxation.
Zero Gravity Position
Elevate the footrest higher for deep relaxation and fatigue relief.
Anti-Gravity Position
Raise the footrest to a desired position for enhanced support and decompression. Note: Use with caution; excessive tilt may cause dizziness. Consult a physician before use.
Care and Maintenance
Proper care and maintenance will ensure years of superior performance. Follow these guidelines to maintain the finish quality.
Notice:
- Do not place the chair in direct sunlight, as it causes fading.
- Do not smoke cigarettes while using the chair.
- Avoid extreme temperature changes; keep the chair away from radiators, heat, and air vents.
- Do not use solvent-type cleaners for spot cleaning.
- Do not saturate fabric.
- Be careful of pet scratches, which may damage fabric or leather.
1. Fabric Care
- Inspect fabric regularly for pulls, tears, or gaps.
- Frequent vacuuming or light brushing with a nonmetallic, stiff bristle brush is recommended for dust and grime removal.
- For liquid spills, immediately wipe off with a dry or lightly dampened clean white cloth, sponge, or paper towel.
2. Faux Leather Care
- Wipe leather regularly with a clean, dry microfiber cloth.
- For stubborn dust, dampen the cloth with distilled water. Ensure the cloth is not soaking wet; never let water soak into the leather.
- Always use a soft cloth; never use an abrasive brush or scrubber, as this can scratch and damage the leather.
3. Electronics Care
- Inspect all wiring harnesses to ensure they are not damaged or stuck under the chair.
- Keep electronics free from moisture and extreme temperatures.
- Check electrical components frequently for signs of corrosion and replace as necessary.
- Contact Mcombo Customer Support if damage is present; do not attempt self-repair.
4. Disposal & Recycling
Dispose of the power recliner according to applicable local and national statutory disposal regulations. Contact your local waste disposal agency for information on proper disposal of packaging, metal/wood frame components, fabric, and electronic components.

Disassembly Instruction
Notice: Ensure the chair is in an upright position with the footrest and headrest returned to their original positions. Unplug the power adapter before disassembling. Dismantle the chair in the specified order.
Step 1 - Disconnect all Connections
Disconnect all connections on the chair base and backrest.
Step 2 - Disassemble Backrest
- Push the metal ears of the backrest inserts outward.
- After unlocking the metal lugs on both sides, hold the bottom part of the backrest and pull it vertically upward. ❗ After unlocking the metal tabs on both sides of the backrest, pull the backrest upward.
Step 3 - Disassemble Armrest
- Turn the base on its side.
- Hold the feet with both hands and use your foot against the metal rack as shown in the figure, then gently shake the armrest to pull it out parallel.
Step 4 - Disassemble the Wood foot
Use the hex key to remove all feet.
Note: If the chair needs to be returned, pack all screws, feet, power supply, and other accessories into the box. Refer to page 5 for the part list and page 19 for return information.
Warranty
Notice:
- For products beyond the limited manufacturer warranty period and scope, Mcombo can provide replacement service for a basic charge.
- The warranty applies only to Mcombo products and does not include accessories or enhancements.
- Warranties are valid only in the 48 contiguous United States and require the consumer to operate the product according to the manual.

Consumer Warranty Limitations and Exclusions
All warranties begin on the date of delivery and are valid only for the original purchaser from Mcombo. Mcombo will replace defective parts or send replacement products provided parts have not been subjected to misuse, abuse, or improper service, such as damage from negligence or improper operation.
Exclusions include damage caused by:
- Contamination
- Abuse, misuse, accident, or negligence
- Commercial use or use other than normal
- Improper operation, maintenance, or storage
Note: Mcombo will pay standard shipping rates for warranted parts for the first year. Discounted replacement parts are available for out-of-warranty products.
Return/ Replacement Policy
Notice: We do not recommend returning items yourself due to high costs (e.g., UPS/FedEx oversize fees) and the need to transport the box to a facility.
MCOMBO® Return Policy
You have 30 days from the date of purchase to return any item. Please pack the item securely in its original packaging with all accessories and manuals. To initiate a return, contact Mcombo Customer Support at sales@mcombo.com or 323-597-1109.
Return Conditions
Items must be in new, unused condition with original tags and packaging. Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment, including taxes.
Note:
- Keep the original packaging for returns. If unavailable, the new packaging must meet size standards: (width+ height) * 2 + length < 128 inches.
- Disassemble the product before returning to avoid oversized shipping costs.
- Do not purchase return labels for damaged/defective products yourself.
