If the Heating Indicator is blinking, the heating unit is working. If the Heating Indicator lights up constantly, the heating unit is not working.

*External floor sensor is only active when it is connected.

Room Thermostat Placement

Place your Room Thermostat in a room you use frequently, such as the hall or living room. Avoid installing it in areas with significant air circulation (e.g., near doorways or windows). Do not place it close to heating units (radiators, fireplaces) or in direct sunlight. The recommended placement height is 150 cm from the floor.

Room Thermostat Temperature Calibration

Room Thermostat temperature sensors are highly sensitive. Calibrate your thermostat based on the temperature in your living space.

1. While the device is off, press and hold the [Button] for 3 seconds.
2. Press the [Button] until the calibration menu "[CAL]" appears.
3. Adjust the desired temperature difference using the [Button] (right/left). This value can be adjusted between -8°C and +8°C.
4. Press the [Button] until the device turns off to save settings and exit.

Note: The recommended temperature calibration setting is 0.0°C.

Room Thermostat Hysteresis Positive Menu

The factory hysteresis positive setting is 0.5°C, adjustable between 0.1°C and 2.0°C. With a 0.5°C setting, the heating unit will stop when the room temperature rises 0.5°C above the set temperature. For example, if set to 22.0°C, heating stops at 22.5°C.

1. While the device is off, press and hold the [Button] for 3 seconds.
2. Press the [Button] until the "[HSp]" menu appears.
3. Adjust the operating sensitivity in the hysteresis positive menu using the [Button] (right/left).
4. Press the [Button] until the device turns off to save settings and exit.

Your settings will be saved and applied when the device is turned on.

Room Thermostat Hysteresis Negative Menu

The factory hysteresis negative setting is -0.5°C, adjustable between -0.1°C and -2.0°C. With a -0.5°C setting, the heating unit will activate when the room temperature drops 0.5°C below the set temperature. For example, if set to 22.0°C, heating starts at 21.5°C.

1. While the device is off, press and hold the [Button] for 3 seconds.
2. Press the [Button] until the "[HSn]" menu appears.
3. Adjust the operating sensitivity in the hysteresis negative menu using the [Button] (right/left).
4. Press the [Button] until the device turns off to save settings and exit.

Your settings will be saved and applied when the device is turned on.

Floor Sensor Temperature Setting Menu

If a floor sensor is installed, only the GENERAL Life floor sensor should be used to maintain warranty. The factory floor sensor temperature setting is 28°C, adjustable between 23°C and 34°C. The floor sensor operating sensitivity is 1°C. For example, if set to 28°C, heating stops when floor temperature rises to 29°C and restarts when it drops to 27°C.

1. Press and hold the [Button] for 3 seconds while the device is off.
2. Press the [Button] until the "[nbc]" menu appears.
3. Adjust the operating temperature using the [Button] (right/left) in the floor sensor temperature menu.
4. Press the [Button] until the device turns off to save settings and exit.

Your settings will be saved and applied when the device is turned on.

Factory Reset

You can reset the Room Thermostat to its factory default settings, including calibration and hysteresis. To factory reset:

1. While the device is off, press and hold the [Button] for 3 seconds.
2. Press the [Button] until the "[St]" menu appears.
3. While in the "[St]" menu, use the [Button] (right/left) to select the "[45]" option and press the [Button].

Your device will turn off and reset to factory settings.

Room Thermostat Working Principle

The thermostat operates based on the average ambient temperature over the last 40 seconds. If the ambient temperature rises above the set hysteresis positive value, the heating unit turns off. If it drops below the hysteresis negative value, the heating unit turns on, maintaining the temperature within a specific range.

If the floor sensor measures a temperature above 28°C, it turns off the heating unit.*

*External floor sensor is only active when it is connected.

Example values: Room Temperature 22.5°C, Set Temperature 22.0°C, Heating Unit On at 21.5°C, Heating Unit Off at 22.5°C.

Warranty Conditions

1. Warranty period: 2 years from the invoice date, covering manufacturing defects.
2. Devices are delivered in working condition. On-site commissioning incurs a service fee.
3. Warranty repairs are performed at the factory. Transportation costs for service personnel and equipment are the customer's responsibility.
4. Maintenance is performed at the company. Travel fares for maintenance belong to the customer.
5. Malfunctions are tested to determine cause (customer vs. manufacturer fault).
6. Manufacturer-induced errors within the warranty period allow for replacement or repair at the manufacturer's expense, unless exceeding product price.
7. Customer-induced faults are entirely at the customer's expense.
8. Customers must report damages from the start of the warranty period; failure to do so may forfeit rights under article 6.
9. Malfunctions due to use contrary to the User Manual are not covered.
10. Damage from impact, breakage, or scratches voids the warranty.
11. Damage from using other brands/models without approval is not covered.
12. Battery leakage, rust, oxidation, or liquid contact in humid/acidic environments are not covered.
13. Remove batteries if the product is unused for over 15 days; subsequent malfunctions are not covered.
14. Transportation damage is not covered; customers may opt for transportation insurance.
15. Damage from mains voltage or faulty electrical installation is not covered.
16. Force majeure events (fire, flood, earthquake) are not covered.
17. All devices and parts are under the company's warranty.
18. Repair time is added to the warranty period. Repairs should not exceed 20 working days. This period starts from notification. If not repaired within 20 days, a replacement product of similar features must be provided until repair is complete.
19. Refund or price discount may be requested if:
    • The product fails 4 times in a year or 6 times within the warranty period, affecting its main purpose.
    • Maximum repair time is exceeded.
    • Repair is impossible due to lack of service station or other reasons, as determined by a report.
20. Complaints can be made to consumer courts or arbitration committees.
21. The warranty document must be kept. Loss of the document will result in a fee for repair/replacement.
