Function Summary

General Operation

Switching the E-bike System On/Off

Briefly press the [Power Button] to switch on the E-bike system. To switch off, hold the [Power Button] for 2 seconds. The system switches off automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity. Off-state leakage current is less than 1 μA.

Display Interface

The default display shows real-time Speed and Trip Distance. Press the [Info Button] to cycle through the following information: Trip (Km) → ODO (Km) → Max. Speed (Km/h) → Avg. Speed (Km/h) → Time (Min.).

Switching Push-assistance Mode On/Off

To activate push-assistance, hold the [Minus Button] for 2 seconds. The e-bike drive engages at a speed less than 6 Km/h. Releasing the [Minus Button] stops the function and power output. Use with caution when pushing the e-bike, being aware of potential injury if wheels lose ground contact.

Switching the Lighting On/Off

Hold the [Plus Button] to turn the bike light on. The backlight brightness is automatically reduced. Hold the [Plus Button] again to turn the light off.

Function Details

Assist Level Selection

Briefly press the [Plus Button] or [Minus Button] to change the motor output power. Assistance levels range from 0 (zero power) to 5 (maximum power). The default level is 1. Pressing [Plus Button] at level 5 will keep it at 5 and blink. Pressing [Minus Button] at level 0 will keep it at 0 and blink.

Battery SOC Indicator

The battery status is indicated by five bars. All bars illuminated signify high battery voltage. When the percentage is 0%, the battery needs immediate recharging.

Motor Power Indicator

The output power of the motor can be monitored via the display interface.

USB Connection Indication

When a USB external device is connected, the display interface will show a specific indication.

Error Code Indication

The e-bike system continuously monitors for errors. When an error is detected, a code is displayed. Refer to "Attached list 1" for detailed error messages. If an error code appears, the display should be repaired by an authorized dealer to ensure normal bike operation.

Settings

Accessing Settings

To access the settings menu, ensure the e-bike is stationary and hold both the [Plus Button] and [Minus Button] for 2 seconds.

Note: All settings are operated when the e-bike is not moving.

Wheel Diameter Settings

This setting adjusts the wheel diameter. Use the [Plus Button] or [Minus Button] to increase or decrease the value. The default is 26 inches. Press the [Info Button] to confirm the setting.

Speed-limit Settings

Set the maximum speed limit for the e-bike system. When the current speed exceeds the limit, power output is reduced. The range is 15 Km/h to 40 Km/h, with a default of 25 Km/h. Use [Plus Button] or [Minus Button] to adjust and [Info Button] to confirm.

Backlight Brightness Settings

Adjust the backlight brightness. Level 5 offers the highest brightness, while lower levels are dimmer. Use [Plus Button] or [Minus Button] to select the desired level and [Info Button] to confirm.

Battery Power Bar Settings

Configure the voltage segmentation for the 5 battery bars. This setting is switchable between 36V and 48V systems. Enter 5 voltage values one by one. Use [Plus Button] or [Minus Button] to adjust each value and [Info Button] to confirm and move to the next. Press [Info Button] after the last value to confirm all settings. For 48V systems, the default first bar value is 41.2V.

Advanced Settings

This section covers advanced settings, including PAS (Power Assist System) parameters.

Speed Sensor Settings

Configure the speed sensor by setting the number of magnets on the e-bike spoke. The range is from 1 to 15, with a default of 1. Use [Plus Button] or [Minus Button] to adjust and [Info Button] to confirm.

Power Assistant Sensor Magnets

Set the number of magnets on the PAS disk. The settable range is from 5 to 24, with a default of 12. Use [Plus Button] or [Minus Button] to adjust and [Info Button] to confirm.

Assist Level Mode Options

Choose from 8 assist level modes (e.g., 0-3, 0-5, 1-9). The default mode is 0-5. Use [Plus Button] or [Minus Button] to select a mode and [Info Button] to confirm.

Current Limit Settings

Configure the controller's over-current cut-off. The adjustable range is from 7.0A to 25.0A, with a default of 15A. Use [Plus Button] or [Minus Button] to adjust the value and [Info Button] to confirm.

Sensitivity

Adjust the sensitivity of the power assist sensor. This determines how many magnets need to pass the sensor before motor assist engages. Use [Plus Button] or [Minus Button] to select the sensitivity value and [Info Button] to confirm.

Slow Start

Configure the slow start-up setting, which is a time duration before power assistance is provided after pedaling begins. The range is 0-3, with 3 being the slowest. The default is 1. Use [Plus Button] or [Minus Button] to select the value and [Info Button] to confirm.

SOC View Settings

Choose the display mode for battery State Of Charge (SOC). Options are percentage value or voltage value. The default is percentage. Use [Plus Button] or [Minus Button] to select the desired mode and [Info Button] to confirm.

Auto-off Time Settings

Set the automatic shutdown time for the display. The default auto-off time is 5 minutes. Use [Plus Button] or [Minus Button] to choose the desired duration and [Info Button] to confirm.

System Settings

Unit km/mile Toggling

Select the unit of measurement for distance. Options are Metric (km) or Imperial (mile). The default is Metric (km). Use [Plus Button] or [Minus Button] to toggle and [Info Button] to confirm.

Password Settings

Configure power-on password settings. The default password is ‘1212’. To access these settings, select 'Password' from the menu and press [Info Button].

Power-on Password Disable/Enable

To enable or disable the power-on password, select ON or OFF using the [Plus Button] or [Minus Button]. ON enables the password, OFF disables it. The default is OFF. To enable, select ON, press [Info Button], and input the current or default password (‘1212’). To disable, select OFF, press [Info Button], and input the current password. The display will show ‘Password Canceled Successfully’ and restore the default password ‘1212’.

Power-on Password Reset

To reset the password, select ‘Reset Password’ from the previous interface and press [Info Button]. Follow the three-page process: 1. Enter the current or default password (‘1212’). 2. Input a new 4-digit password using [Plus Button]/ [Minus Button] and [Info Button] to confirm each digit. 3. Re-enter the new password for confirmation. The screen will display ‘Password Reset Successfully’.

Factory Settings

Restore the display to its default factory settings. Choose YES or NO using the [Plus Button] or [Minus Button]. The default option is NO. Press [Info Button] to confirm your selection.

Display Settings

Access basic display parameter settings, such as trip reset.

Trip Distance Clearance

Reset the trip distance. Select Yes to clear the single ride distance, or No to keep it. Use [Plus Button] or [Minus Button] to select and [Info Button] to confirm.

Exit Settings

Return to the home screen from the settings menu. The display will automatically exit settings mode after one minute of inactivity.

Quality Assurance and Warranty

Warranty

The warranty is valid for products used under normal conditions for 24 months after shipment or delivery. The warranty does not cover: display demolition, damage from incorrect installation/operation, broken shell/wire outside factory conditions, force majeure events, or expired warranty period.

Standard Connector Wiring

Diagrams show the display-side connector and the mating connector from the controller side. A wire sequence table details the wire number, color, and function:
