Product Overview
The Polaroid PBT509 Mini Clip-On Speaker is a compact, portable audio device designed for easy attachment and use. It offers Bluetooth connectivity for wireless audio streaming and can also function as a wired speaker via a 3.5mm AUX cable. The speaker features controls for playback, volume, and call management, along with an integrated microphone.

Using the Speaker
Powering ON/OFF
Move the [POWER] switch to the ON position to power on. Move it to the OFF position to power off.
Adjusting Volume
Long press the [-] button to decrease volume. Long press the [+] button to increase volume. A tone will indicate maximum volume.
Playing Media
Connect wirelessly via Bluetooth or use a wired connection. Media playback and volume can be controlled via the speaker's buttons or the connected device.
- Playing/Pausing Media: Quick press the [II] button to pause. Press [II] again to resume. The LED indicator flashes red during playback.
- Skipping Tracks: Quick press [-] for the previous track. Quick press [+] for the next track.
Handling Phone Calls
- Answering Calls: Quick press [II] for an incoming call.
- Ending Calls: Quick press [II] again to end an ongoing call.
- Redialing Last Call: Double press [II] to redial the last incoming phone call.
- Rejecting Calls: Long press [II] to reject an incoming call.
Using the FM Radio
- Long press the [+] button to switch to FM radio mode.
- Quick press [-] and [+] to scan for stations.
- Long press [-] and [+] to adjust volume.
Note: To return to Bluetooth mode, turn the speaker OFF and then ON. It will automatically re-pair to the last connected device.
Charging the Speaker
Connect the micro USB end of the USB/AUX cable to the speaker's micro USB port. Connect the other end to a USB adapter, power bank, or computer USB port. The LED indicator turns red while charging and turns off when fully charged. Charge for at least 2-3 hours before first use.
Using as a Wired Device
Connect the 3.5mm AUX end of the cable to the headphone jack of your media device. Connect the micro USB end to the speaker's micro USB port. This connection overrides Bluetooth mode. When disconnected, the speaker will automatically reconnect to the last paired Bluetooth device if enabled.
Pairing the Speaker
- Turn the speaker ON using the [POWER] switch. The LED indicator will flash red, and a tone will be heard.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device, search for Bluetooth devices.
- Select "PBT509" from the list of found devices.
- Upon successful pairing, a tone will be heard, and the LED indicator will remain solid red.
Example for Apple/Android: Go to SETTINGS > BLUETOOTH. Ensure Bluetooth is ON. Look for "PBT509" under connected devices. (Screenshots are illustrative and may vary by device).
