Step 1: Install the Device

This section describes the physical installation of the E1320 Wi-Fi6 Wireless Router.

Diagram Description: The diagram shows the rear panel of the router with ports labeled WAN, LAN1, LAN2, LAN3, RESET, MESH/WPS, and POWER. An RJ-45 cable connects the router's WAN port to a modem or a network cable jack. Another RJ-45 cable connects a PC or Laptop to one of the router's LAN ports. Devices like a Laptop and Mobile Phone are shown connecting wirelessly via Wi-Fi. A power cable connects the router to a Power Outlet.

Connections:

  • Connect the router's WAN port to your modem or network cable jack using an RJ-45 cable.
  • Connect your PC or Laptop to one of the router's LAN ports using an RJ-45 cable.
  • Connect the router to a power outlet using the provided power adapter.
  • Wireless devices (Laptops, Mobile Phones) connect via Wi-Fi [?].

Step 2: Add the Router

This section guides users on adding the router to their network using the ZLife Lite mobile application.

  1. Download and Install ZLife Lite: For iOS devices, download the ZLife Lite app from the App Store. For Android devices, download it from Google Play.

  2. Add Device: Open the ZLife Lite app and tap "Add device".

App Screen Description: The app screen shows a "No device" status with an "Add device" button.

  3. Select Device Type: Tap "Wi-Fi Router" from the list of ZTE devices to add. The app indicates this is for devices connected via Ethernet cable.

App Screen Description: A list of device types is shown, including ONT (fiber), DSL CPE (telephone line), and Wi-Fi Router (Ethernet cable). "Wi-Fi Router" is selected.

  4. Connect and Power On: Connect the router's WAN port to the broadband port using a network cable. Power on the Wi-Fi router. The router's LED indicator should turn solid green.

App Screen Description: A diagram shows the router connected to a broadband port via a network cable. Text indicates powering on the router and waiting for a solid green LED.

Tap "Next" [➡️] in the app.

  5. Scan QR Code or Enter Credentials: Scan the QR code [QR Code] located on the bottom of the router. If no QR code is present, you can manually enter your wireless account and password.

App Screen Description: The app prompts to "Scan QR Code" or "Select Wi-Fi SSID". A QR code is displayed within a phone graphic. Text mentions scanning the QR code on the router or selecting its Wi-Fi SSID.

Note for Android Users: If using an Android device, you may need to connect to the router's Wi-Fi manually after scanning the QR code. If you prefer not to enter the password manually, you can tap to copy it. This is due to Android security requirements.

  6. Configure Network: After the router is successfully added, the "Configure network" screen will appear. Tap "Bind immediately". The router's indicator light should be green and steady [✔️], indicating successful configuration.

App Screen Description: The app shows "Configuration completed" and "You can now experience the Internet!". A graphic indicates the LED indicator/WPS status.

Note: For advanced configurations, access the router's web management page. The login address and default credentials are typically found on a label on the router.
