VTX Connector Description:
- Orange: Camera video signal
- Blue: Video out
- Red: +5V
- Black: GND
VTX Control:
- NTSC/PAL Switch: Long press for 2 seconds to switch between NTSC and PAL video display.
- Frequency Group A-F: Select frequency group with a long press (2 seconds).
- Channel CH1-CH8: Select channel with a short press.
4. General Product Safety Precautions
⚠️ CAUTION: Read and follow all instructions and warnings before setup or use. Incorrect operation can lead to product damage, personal property damage, or injury. This is a sophisticated hobby product requiring caution, common sense, and basic mechanical ability.
- As the user, you are responsible for operating the product safely and not endangering yourself or others, or damaging the product or property.
- Operate in open spaces away from people and property.
- Never operate with damaged electrical components.
- Keep the transmitter powered on while the model is powered on.
- Allow parts to cool after use before touching; motors can get hot.
- Remove batteries after use, as applicable.
- Keep batteries, chemicals, small parts, and electrical items out of reach of children.
- Avoid water exposure; keep parts dry.
- Keep moving parts clean.
5. Flight Controller Connection Diagram

6. Charge the Flight Battery
NOTICE: Inspect the battery for damage (swollen, bent, broken, punctured). Charge only batteries that are cool to the touch and undamaged.
Charging with Balance Charger
Connect the 2 batteries and the charge cable to a 2S Balance charger (e.g., B3PRO, 3S10D, 4S15D, Charsoon DC-4S). ⚠️ CAUTION: Only use 2 batteries together for charging. ⚠️ CAUTION: Once charging is complete, immediately remove the battery. Never leave a battery connected to the charger.
Charging with USB Li-Po Charger
Connect the battery to the USB Li-Po Charger, then plug it into your computer's USB port.
LED Status:
- Solid Red LED: Charging
- Solid Blue LED: Charge Complete
7. QX105 Frsky BNF Version Binding Procedure
- Power on the QX105 while holding the Bind button. The Green LED on the receiver will become solid, indicating binding mode. Release the Bind button.
- Turn on your Radio transmitter and select D8 mode for the Receiver. Navigate to the Receiver [Bind] option and press ENT to bind with the QX105. The Green LED on the receiver will turn off, indicating successful binding.
- The default receiver channel map for the QX105 Frsky version is TAER1234. Ensure your transmitter is matched to this configuration; otherwise, it cannot be armed. The RSSI output is set to CH9.
Green LED Status Meaning:
- Solid: Works normal or Binding mode
- Blinking: Lost signal
- Off: Binding successfully

Transmitter Configuration (Taranis X9D Example):
The default receiver channel map is TAER1234. Ensure your transmitter settings match this. The RSSI output is set to CH9.
8. Arm/Disarm QX105 Frsky BNF
- The default Arm/Disarm switch for the QX105 is AUX1 (Channel 5). This can be customized using Betaflight Configurator. AUX2 (Channel 6) is set for flight mode changes, and AUX3 (Channel 7) is for activating the buzzer. These can also be customized.
- Set Arm/Disarm Switch (Taranis X9D Example): Navigate to the MIXER interface. Set a switch (e.g., "SA" or "SB") for CH5 to ARM/DISARM the motor. A 3-position switch is suggested for changing flight modes.
- Toggle the AUX1 switch. The buzzer will beep once, and the Blue LED on the flight controller will turn off and then become solid, indicating the motor is armed. You will see "ARMED" displayed on your FPV Goggles or monitor.

9. QX105 Frsky BNF Version Receiver Configuration
The Frsky receiver is pre-configured for the QX105. If you flash the firmware, follow these steps:
- Enable Serial_RX for UART3 in Betaflight Configurator.
- Set the RECEIVER Mode to RX_SERIAL.
- Set the Serial Receiver Provider to SBUS.

10. QX105 Flysky BNF Version Binding Procedure
- Power on the QX105 while holding the Bind button. The Green LED on the receiver will blink rapidly, indicating binding mode. Release the Bind button.
- Ensure your Flysky Radio is set to AFHDS 2A Mode. Turn on your radio while holding the binding button to initiate binding with the QX105. The Green LED will turn off briefly, then start blinking slowly, indicating successful binding. The Green LED will be solid when the connection is established.
- The default receiver channel map for the QX105 Flysky version is AETR1234. Ensure your transmitter is matched to this configuration; otherwise, it cannot be armed.
Green LED Status Meaning:
- Solid: Works normal
- Blinking slowly: Lost signal
- Blinking fast: In binding mode
- Off: Binding successfully

11. Arm/Disarm QX105 Flysky BNF Version

12. QX105 Flysky Version Receiver Configuration
The Flysky receiver is pre-configured for the QX105. If you flash the firmware, follow these steps:
- Select RX_PPM from the RECEIVER Mode in Betaflight Configurator.

13. QX105 DSM2/DSMX BNF Version Binding Procedure and Satellite Receiver Setup
The QX105 DSM2/DSMX BNF Version integrates a DSM2/DSMX compatible Satellite receiver. The binding procedure is as follows:
- Connect the QX105 DSM2/DSMX BNF Version to a computer and open Betaflight Configurator.
- From the CLI tab, type:
set spektrum_sat_bind = 9
for DSMX radio, orset spektrum_sat_bind = 5
for DSM2 radio. - Type
save
, then reboot the Flight Controller (disconnect and reconnect the USB cable). - Wait a moment, then reconnect the USB cable. The satellite LED (Orange color) should start blinking. Turn on your transmitter while holding the bind button.
- After binding, the satellite LED should be solid. Connect to Betaflight and use the receiver tab to test functionality.
- Finally, go back to the CLI tab, type
set spektrum_sat_bind = 0
, and then typesave
. This prevents the satellite from entering binding mode upon repowering.
Orange LED Status Meaning:
- Solid: Works normal
- Blinking fast: Binding mode
- Off: Lost signal

15. QX105 DSM2/DSMX BNF Version Receiver Configuration
The satellite receiver is pre-configured for the QX105. If you flash the firmware, follow these steps:
- Enable Serial_RX for UART3 in Betaflight Configurator.
- Set the Receiver mode to RX_SERIAL.
- Select SPEKTRUM1024 for DSM2 Radio or SPEKTRUM2048 for DSMX Radio.

14. Arm/Disarm QX105 DSM2/DSMX BNF Version
- The default Arm/Disarm switch for the QX105 DSM2/DSMX BNF Version is AUX1 (Channel 5). For most Spektrum radios, the default Channel 5 is the GEAR switch. This can be customized using Betaflight Configurator. AUX2 (Channel 6) is set for flight mode changes, and AUX3 (Channel 7) is for activating the buzzer. A 3-position switch is suggested for changing flight modes.
- Set Arm/Disarm Switch: Turn on the transmitter and set a switch for CH5 to ARM/DISARM the motor. For Spektrum transmitters like DX6/DX6i, the default CH5 is the GEAR Switch.
- Toggle the AUX1 Switch. The buzzer will beep once, and the Blue LED on the flight controller will turn off and then become solid, indicating the motor is armed. You will see "ARMED" displayed on your FPV Goggles or monitor.

16. OSD Configuration
- Connect the QX105 to your computer and open Betaflight Configurator. Navigate to the OSD option to configure the layout.
- The "Craft Name" setting is found within the configuration options.
