Safety Precautions
The drone is a high-risk item. Always fly away from crowds, high-rise buildings, and high-voltage wires. Avoid flying in adverse weather conditions like wind, rain, or thunderstorms to ensure the safety of pilots, people, and property.
Keep the drone away from damp environments as its internal components are sensitive to moisture.
Operate the drone according to your physical and mental state. Fatigue or poor condition can increase accident risk.
When propellers are spinning at high speed, keep the drone and yourself away from them to prevent danger and damage.
Keep the drone away from heat sources and direct sunlight to prevent deformation caused by high temperatures.
Lithium Polymer (LiPo) Battery Warning: LiPo batteries are sensitive and can cause explosions if mishandled. Do not charge the battery inside the drone. Use only the original professional charger. Avoid charging on carpets to prevent fire. Maintain battery voltage for storage longer than three months.
Battery Charging and Installation
Drone Battery Installation:
The drone requires 3 AA batteries (not included).
Charging the Drone Battery: Use the included USB charging cable. The indicator light on the cable stays on during charging and turns off when fully charged.
Connecting the Battery: Place the charged battery into the battery holder and connect it to the drone.
Remote Control Battery Installation:
The remote control requires batteries (details not specified in this section, but typically AA or rechargeable).
Drone Assembly and Preparation
Folding and Expanding Procedure:
The drone arms fold for portability. To expand, unfold the front arms first, then the back arms. To fold, fold the back arms first, then the front arms.
Propeller Installation:
Install propellers by matching them to the correct motor arms. Blades labeled 'A' go on the front left and rear right arms. Blades labeled 'B' go on the front right and rear left arms. Ensure they are securely attached.
Propeller Protection Shields:
Optional propeller protection shields can be clipped onto each side of the propeller arms without requiring tools.
Remote Control Functions
Mobile Phone Holder:
A holder is located at the bottom of the remote. Pull it out and mount your mobile phone (up to 5.5 inches) securely.
Drone Synchronization:
1. Place the drone on a flat surface.
2. Power on the drone first, then the remote control.
3. The drone's indicator light will flash, indicating it's ready to sync.
4. Push the throttle stick (left stick) up and down rapidly to complete synchronization.
5. The drone's indicator light will turn solid when successfully synced with the remote.
Auto Take-off and Landing:
One Key Take-off: Press the dedicated button to automatically lift the drone to approximately 5 feet.
One Key Landing: Press the dedicated button for automatic vertical landing.
Remote Control Layout:
The remote control features:
- One Key Take-off Button: Initiates automatic take-off.
- One Key Landing Button: Initiates automatic landing.
- Speed Switch: Cycles through low, medium, and high speeds.
- Trim Tabs: Adjustments for forward/backward and left/right drift (e.g., Right Trim Tab, Forward Trim Tab, Backward Trim Tab, Left Trim Tab).
- Emergency Stop (Long Press): Immediately shuts down the drone in emergencies.
- 3D Flip Mode (Short Press): Activates flip mode.
- One Key Return (Long Press): Returns the drone to the remote control's vicinity.
- Headless Mode (Short Press): Disables the drone's orientation, making controls relative to the pilot.
Flight Control
The drone is controlled using two joysticks on the remote:
- Throttle (Left Stick): Push up to ascend, push down to descend.
- Forward/Backward (Right Stick): Push forward to move forward, pull backward to move backward (assuming the camera is at the front).
- Flying Sideways (Left Stick): Push left to move left, push right to move right.
- Turning (Right Stick): Push left to turn left, push right to turn right.
Trim Tabs for Fine Tuning:
If the drone drifts, use the trim tabs to correct its flight path:
- Forward & Backward Fine Tuning: If the drone drifts forward, press the backward trim tab. If it drifts backward, press the forward trim tab.
- Left & Right Fine Tuning: If the drone drifts left, press the right trim tab. If it drifts right, press the left trim tab.
Advanced Flight Modes
One Key Return:
Press the One Key Return button to bring the drone back towards the remote control, effective within approximately 10 feet.
Headless Mode:
When Headless Mode is activated (indicated by continuous beeps from the remote), the drone's controls are relative to the pilot's position, not the drone's orientation. Press the button again to exit.
Speed Selection:
The drone offers three speed settings: low, medium, and high. Press the speed switch button to cycle through these modes.
Reset Setting:
The drone can be reset to its original factory settings if it experiences unusual or unbalanced flight, potentially due to motor issues.
3D Flip:
To perform a 3D flip, raise the drone to at least 2 meters, press the 3D Flip mode button, then quickly push the right control stick in the desired direction (forward, backward, left, or right) and release. The drone will perform a roll in that direction. Press the button again to exit flip mode.
Emergency Stop:
In any emergency situation, press and hold the emergency stop button to immediately shut down the drone's motors, protecting the drone and its surroundings.
Troubleshooting
Issue | Possible Cause | Troubleshooting Steps |
---|---|---|
