Installation
- Open your internet browser and navigate to www.trust.com/22991/driver.
- Choose your operating system and click the "Download EXE" button to download the software.
- Click on the downloaded file "22991_XX.exe" and follow the installation wizard.
- Click on the "GXT 144 Gaming Mouse.exe" shortcut to launch the software.
- You can now configure the mouse. The term 'Apply' in this manual refers to updating settings on the mouse.
Button Programming
Key Setting
- Click on the 'Main' tab.
- Click on the button you wish to re-assign.
- Click on the function you want to assign to the button.
- Click 'Apply' to update the mouse settings. The mouse is being updated.
Note: At least one button must be assigned as the "Left Button".
Mouse Settings & Report Rate
- Change the mouse sensitivity.
- Change the scrolling speed.
- Change the Double-click speed.
- Change the Report Rate.
Click 'Apply' to save changes. The mouse is being updated.
DPI Setting
- Click on the 'Advanced' tab.
- Assign up to 5 DPI variables by checking or unchecking the boxes.
- Choose a DPI speed for each DPI setting (minimum 200 / maximum 10,000 DPI).
Click 'Apply' to save changes. The mouse is being updated.
Custom Color
- Click on the color you wish to change.
- Select your desired custom color and click 'OK'.
Click 'Apply' to save changes. The mouse is being updated.
Light Effects
- Click 'Steady' and adjust the brightness.
- Click 'Breathe' and adjust the speed.
- Click 'Blink' and adjust the frequency and duration (the mouse will blink when switching DPI).
- Adjust the lighting effect and speed.
- Click 'Steady' and adjust the 'Time' setting. When 'Apply' is pressed, the mouse will illuminate for the selected duration.
- Adjust the effect and speed.
Click 'Apply' to save changes. The mouse is being updated.
Macro Settings
Create a Macro
Store a sequence of keys in the software:
- Click on the 'Macro' tab.
- Click the 'New macro' button.
- Enter a name for the macro and click 'OK'.
- Choose whether to record button delay and how the macro should execute.
- Click 'Start record' to begin recording the macro.
- Enter your desired macro sequence (maximum 60 actions).
- Click 'Stop Recording' to finish recording the macro.
- Click 'Insert event' to add a mouse action.
- Click 'Save' to save the macro.
The next step is to assign your recorded macro.
Assign a Macro
Store a sequence of keys in the software:
- Click on the 'Main' tab.
- Click the button you want to assign a macro to.
- Click the 'Macro' function.
- Select your preferred macro.
- Click 'OK'.
Click 'Apply' to save changes. The mouse is being updated.
Profiles
Save or Load Profiles
- Choose the profile you want to save or load.
- Click the 'Import' icon to load a setup or the 'Export' icon to save the current setup.
- Enter a name for your configuration or search for a previously saved configuration.
- Click 'Save/Open' to save or load your setup.
Click 'Apply' to save changes. The mouse is being updated.
Factory Reset
- Choose the profile you want to reset.
- Click the 'Restore' button.
- Click the 'OK' button to restore all settings to factory defaults.
Troubleshooting
Problem | Solution |
---|---|
The software is not starting. | Ensure the GXT 144 mouse is connected and try starting the software again. |
The mouse is not being detected. | Try another USB port, restart your PC, and try again. |
