Step 1: Identify Mouse Features
The diagram shows the top view of the Trust Ranoo mouse. Key components visible include:
- Left and right click buttons
- Scroll wheel
- DPI (Dots Per Inch) adjustment button, located behind the scroll wheel
Step 2: Install Batteries
To power your mouse, follow these steps:
- Turn the mouse over to access the underside.
- Locate and open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert two AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and - terminals) as indicated by the markings within the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover.
The mouse has a power switch, typically located on the underside, which can be set to 'On' or 'Off'.
Step 3: Connect the Receiver
To establish a wireless connection:
- Locate the small USB wireless receiver.
- Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
Step 4: Connect and Use
Once the receiver is connected and batteries are installed:
- Ensure the mouse's power switch is set to 'On'.
