Compliance Statement

Stanley Black & Decker's product lithium ion cells and batteries have been successfully tested and comply with the UN Model Regulations, Manual of Test and Criteria, Part III, subsection 38.3.

Summary of Performed UN 38.3 Tests

*This test is applicable only for battery packs. Stanley Black & Decker performs the Overcharge Test (T7) for an extra level of safety. As these battery packs are designed for Stanley Black & Decker chargers, they are not exposed to the conditions prescribed in the Overcharge Test.

**This test is applicable only to Li-Ion cells and is not applicable for battery packs.

Product Test Information

Note: The Product SKU may be followed by an alpha and/or numeric suffix (i.e. - A, -K, K2, -35, APB, etc.), for internal purposes. These units are identical to the base units except for additional bilingual markings or they may be packaged with a Kit-box, an extra battery, or different packaging. The suffix may also represent a derivative model that is identical to a base model except for a cosmetic difference or added accessory that does not affect the UN 38.3 Certification.
