Getting Started
To use the interface, set your vehicle's radio to AUX or an alternative AUX input device. Please note that interface audio will only play through car speakers if the AUX input is connected and selected on your radio.
Aim the remote at the IR receiver and press the power button ? to turn the interface ON or OFF.
If the interface is not displaying on your screen, check that the LED indicator on the remote lights up when any button is pressed. If it does not light up, the batteries may need to be checked and replaced.
Remote Button Functions
- Power ?: Turns the interface ON/OFF.
- Left / Right ◀️ / ▶️: Navigates through the interface menus.
- OK ✅: Selects an option or enters a menu.
- Menu ☰: Returns to the bottom interface menu bar after selecting HDMI or Camera Inputs.
- Back ↩️: Not Applicable.
- Up / Down ⬆️ / ⬇️: Not Applicable.
- Voice ?: Not Applicable.
Input Selection
HDMI Input
To access the HDMI input, press the Right ▶️ button on the IR remote to navigate to HDMI. Then, select HDMI by pressing the OK ✅ button. This will display the HDMI input from the device connected to the interface.
Press the Menu ☰ button to return to the bottom menu bar.
If no HDMI device is connected, a "No Signal HDMI" pop-up message will appear. Press the OK ✅ button to exit this pop-up.
Cameras / Video Input
To access camera or video inputs, press the Right ▶️ button on the IR remote to navigate to Camera / Video Inputs. Press the OK ✅ button to view the selected input.
This feature allows you to view your aftermarket cameras or video inputs if they are installed.
Press the Menu ☰ button to return to the bottom menu bar.
For vehicles with factory cameras (e.g., a factory rear view camera), these will not be manually viewable through this interface but will automatically display when the vehicle is put into reverse.
If your vehicle is equipped with CAN integration, aftermarket front cameras will automatically display when driving at speeds between 5-10 mph. Aftermarket left and right cameras will automatically display when the corresponding turn signals are activated.
